It’s Halloween and Ronny decides to scare Dax and Will while they’re playing pool. Will says Halloween is for kids. Ronny says if they don’t help decorate for the party, they won’t get any punch.

Rose is trying to read her advanced physics book, but is weirded out by Tyzonn staring at her. He suggests they talk then, but it’s not exactly what Rose meant. It’s the Rangers’ day off and while the others went out for a picnic, she had hoped to stay home and read her book alone.
While the Evil Alliance are questioning Thrax’s leadership, Adam brings the All-Star Rangers to Angel Grove to look for someone who can help them restore the Overdrive Rangers Grid connection. Bridge uses his powers and finds there are Chillers hiding behind some crates. Plan Xander kicks in, but it doesn’t work. The Chillers attack and the Rangers easily take care of them. Afterwards, the Rangers find what they’re looking for.
Miratrix and Kamdor’s latest henchman steals a regular old ruby from the museum. But it’s not a jewel of the Corona. The Rangers arrive to retrieve the stolen gem anyway and they battle for a little bit until they get it back.

Meanwhile, the Rangers are on a beach and use the compass to find the third jewel in the ocean. Before they can enjoy mission completed, Hartford calls the Rangers to tell them about the Fearcats approaching San Angeles in a robo. Will takes the jewel to bring it to safe keeping while the others go on ahead downtown.

With the Paedra Aztec Del Compass Moltor took from the Rangers, Blothgaar heads to San Angeles to terrorize the citizens. The Rangers morph and try to battle Blothgaar only for him to show he is impenetrable thanks to the compass.
The Hammer of Thor and the Cannon of Ki Amuk are causing the system to go on the fritz. Rose said she tried to fix it earlier, but it didn’t work. Ronny says she can take care of it. She gives the control panel a little bump and everything’s fine now.

In downtown San Angeles, Will is teaching Tyzonn how to flirt with the ladies. But it’s not going so well. Will says Tyzonn is just built different. Tyzonn says he doesn’t want to be different. He wants to be just like Will.

Flurious is intent on acquiring the legendary Canon of Ki Amuk. Kamdor walks in and proposes an alliance in order to retrieve the canon and eliminate the Mercury Ranger.
On their way back, the Rangers wonder why the Portuguese clue led the Fearcats to Brazil, yet there was no jewel to be found. Rose reminds them that Portugal colonized Brazil so it may have come over back then. Ronny says she will drop the others back in the city while she brings Tyzonn back to the mansion.
