I like Power Rangers Operation Overdrive. Actually, it’s one of my favorite Power Rangers seasons.
Rose offers the jewels to the mummy who hands her a small box. Tyzonn says the box isn’t registering a reading. But once they actually open it, their Trackers go off as they see the Pink Emerald is inside it. Rose says the box probably had some metal that blocked the jewel from their trackers.
Moltor recognizes that with the Fearcats, Miratrix and Kamdor out of the way, his brother Flurious is the only one that stands his way. He feels confident that having the Corona in his possession and one more secret weapon will ensure his victory.
The Octavian Chalice was thought to have magical qualities in the event of a solar eclipse. Ancient Greeks would use it to ask for water, for example, during a dry season. Rose was able to essentially confirm that the chalice in their possession is the same one used by the ancient Greeks. At the moment of totality during an eclipse, it is said that a corona would be visible. Rose thinks they can ask the Chalice where the jewel is.
While Dax and Ronny are debating if the chicken or the egg came first, Rose does not understand why the Octavian Chalice is giving off five different jewel signatures. Unable to remember who has what jewel or crown, they decide to review the season so far. And thanks to Mack’s computer brain, they can easily access pervious episodes.
The zords and Sentinel Sword are badly damaged and must undergo major repairs. While Ronny, Dax and Will are out looking for Tyzonn, Mack is sure he must be in some kind of trouble. Otherwise, he would have been right there with them in the last battle.
Rose has found that the Octavian Chalice can synthesize the energy of three other ancient relics: Minerva’s Staff, The Root of Heisker and The Sands of Sila. When placed in the chalice, it can unleash a power that can destroy worlds. Rose has already initiated a global search for the three relics.
Dax comes in with a package for Mack. It’s the latest book from his book club. But along with Spencer’s delicious-looking cupcakes that are in front of him, Mack is unsure what he even likes anymore. He can no longer tell the difference between himself and what his father has programmed him with.
Mack shows the Rangers photos of a fishing trip with his dad where he caught a huge fish. Dax thinks the photo looks weird since the tree casts a shadow, but not Mack or Hartford. Mack says it really happened. Spencer even took the photo.
In the forest, Will comes to a fork in the road and wonders which road to take. Norg pops up, even though Will told him to sit earlier. Norg remembered that Flurious ordered him to find the Fearcats’ hideout so he is here to join Will.
