Last season, I fell far behind with watching my favorite American dramas Supernatural and Grimm, partly because of my daily recapping of The Amazing Race Philippines Season 2. (But mostly because of real grown up life. *sigh*) =D Anyway, I was able to binge on both series during my family’s May vacation to the Philippines. And while I wasn’t able to fully recap either series last season, I did take some notes of things I found particularly interesting or moments I loved.
With Halloween a day away and season 5 of Grimm premiering tonight, here are my random notes for season 4’s episodes. Looking back now, I almost don’t even understand or remember what I was writing about. (lol) But my overall sentiment with the developments of the crazy season at the end, I still feel very strongly about going into the season 5 premiere. SEASON 5!!! Can you believe it?! “Turn back, turn back, thou pretty bride, within this house thou must not abide. For here do evil things betide.”
The Gang is at the Zimmer Mountain Lodge for the wedding rehearsal. The judge who’ll preside over the wedding wonders if Nick will be wearing those sunglasses tomorrow. Everyone (Monroe, Rosalee, Juliette, DeEetta, Rosalee’s mom, Monroe’s parents, Hank and Bud) says yes, he will. Continue reading →
“‘No,’ said the King. I’d rather die than place you in such great danger as you must meet with in your journey.”
Monroe and Rosalee are at Nick’s for dinner. The wedding is on Saturday and everything’s almost ready. Juliette goes upstairs to call Trubel for dinner. She really loves spaghetti.
Rosalee tries to make small talk and asks about Trubel’s first time seeing a Wesen. It was when she was almost raped by one when she was younger. It was also the first time hearing someone call her a Grimm. She’s been called crazy a lot. Continue reading →
“No longer a dark, gray bird, ugly and disagreeable to look at, but a graceful and beautiful swan.”
Nick tells Juliette Trubel is a Grimm. She is not sure about letting her stay with them, but Nick says they need to help her. She has no idea what’s going on and it’s a lot to take in. They realize she’s gone… to the kitchen to stuff her face with Chinese food. Continue reading →
“In all chaos there is a cosmos, in all disorder a secret order.”

Recap: Grimm, Episode 3.16 – “The Show Must Go On”
“Under such conditions, whatever is evil in men’s natures comes to the front.”
Monroe and Rosalee ask Nick and Juliette to be their best man and maid of honor. That’s an awesome idea. But later that night, Nick has a nightmare of the wedding. The wedding guests woge and see the Grimm and all hell breaks loose.
Juliette wakes Nick up and they agree it’s probably not worth the risk for Nick to agree to be Monroe’s best man. Continue reading →
“Still, after a short time the family’s distress again worsened, and there was no relief anywhere in sight.”
Monroe’s father and Nick have a little go before Monroe can break them up. First Monroe’s engaged to a Fuchsbau and now he’s friends with a Grimm!? Who is this boy? Monroe’s parents take their bags and leave.
Monroe is definitely not in a good mood right now, so Nick leaves as well. Across town, Rosalee gets to the spice shop and cries. Continue reading →
