As we bring 2021 to a close, it is of course time for those end-of-year lists! Lists ranking everything from TV shows to TikTok trends. You could probably find a list ranking anything you could ever imagine.
Last year, I started the Music Monday feature here on DryedMangoez.com in which I shared some of the music I’ve been listening to each week. And of course, at the end of the year, I had to rank my favorites. But for me, I always have trouble ranking things. Whether it’s music or seasons of my favorite TV shows. I’m pretty indecisive that way.
The MBC music channel it’s Live (formerly Mdromeda KPOP) features special live performances from a diverse mix of artists. And quite often, artists are able to present a side of themselves that they’re just unable to do on the regular network television music shows. When they say “t’s Live,” it really is LIVE. And these great examples are some of my favorite performances from it’s Live this past year.
This last week just might be my favorite week in music so far this year as (at least) four new tracks released this week are very likely going to end up being four of my favorite tracks of the year. Check out these amazing tracks from Kang Daniel, NU’EST and ORβIT.
This last week saw so many new songs! Here are the four that interested me the most: KINGDOM, Chungha, Kang Daniel, LUCY
Kang Daniel has had a truly captivating rise since first making a splash on Produce 101. Each of his solo releases so far have been excellent. And he’s returned with another one in “Magenta.”
