Recap: Voltes V: Legacy, Episode 61 – Voltes V Replica
Mark overhears Jamie talking to her friend Anna about sagoting him just to spite Steve. Anna says there’s a lot of reasons to like Mark and can’t believe Jamie is still obsessed with Steve. Mark puts his hood up and leaves, making sure not to be seen.
Meanwhile while getting drunk, Big Bert tells Steve that it is his own fault for being a huge jerk.
Later, Jamie visits Mark after hearing from PJ that he’s gotten drunk as well. He thanks Jamie for sagoting him even though he admits he is the most insecure guy she’ll ever meet.
Mark hugs her and says she has made him really happy. She asks where this is coming from, but he says he’s just had a lot to drink. He adds that no matter what, they won’t leave each other and she won’t take her sagot back, even if she might come to her senses one day.
Jamie promises and tells him this is the last self-pity session he’ll ever have. She helps him into bed and he immediately goes to sleep. Just then, she sees the photo she lost from her room and sets it on the sidetable.
“Thank you for loving me this much,” Jamie says as she kisses him good night.
Jamie runs into a sleepwaking PJ as she heads back to her room. Steve spots her and their eyes meet, but they just wave at each other. Jamie leaves and Steve attempts to chase after her, but thinks better of it.
Next day, Steve comes across Jamie sleeping outside and takes her hand. He tells her he loves her so much and she suddenly wakes up, saying she heard everything he said.
Jamie wants the truth and Steve confesses, saying he kept his feelings to himself because he knows Mark deserves her more. Jamie says he knew how she felt about him, but he lost his chance when he friendzoned her. And now she can’t hurt Mark when he isn’t a coward like Steve is. When Mark is able to have the courage to express his true feelings.
Mark walks up and both Steve and Jamie quickly wipe their tears. Jamie tells Mark they should go back inside now.
Meanwhile down in the lungga, Draco introduces Beastfighter Desler to Zardoz. Oslak says Desler also has a kakaibang weapon that can finally destroy Voltes V. Zardoz says he’s heard the same things from his generals. But Oslak says he’s not a pipitsugin like Zandra and Draco.
Zardoz orders Desler’s release.
Episode Thoughts
Speeding through another plot development. Can’t even spare an episode or two to let the stolen glances and jealousy simmer? Lol Anyway, toxic Steve and Jamie deserve each other. Too much paligoy-ligoy from them. Mark definitely deserves better than Jamie. Let’s not forget she’s semi-PK too, regardless of what she says about being raised by yayas or whatever lol
And wala pala yung yabang ni Steve eh! His cockiness and PK attitude is just a façade he uses to maintain his big man on campus energy. Pathetic! Lol
Now, I hope Mark accepts that Jamie is not the one for him. (Though him running away with Alpha next episode, that doesn’t seem likely lol) But I’d like to see him guilt Jamie into staying in the relationship for as long as he can. Make Jamie and Steve suffer and wallow in their puddle of privileged tears. Lol It’s what they deserve.
And to be clear, it’s their fault if Erthu is in danger because Mark has left. They’re the ones that caused this situation to reach this point. It’s Steve and Jamie’s wishy-washy-ness and not putting Eva in her place or by lying to Mark, respectively. Erthu is in danger because of their middle school antics. But of course, they’ll get saved at the last minute because they are Voltes V! Wowowin!
Voltes V: Legacy Episode 61 is supposed to be available on GMA Network’s official YouTube channel:
However, they’ve decided not to upload even split-part episodes so as to force people to watch live on TV or even the livestream since the ratings have been a bit lower than previous.
The episode is available to view via the Kapuso Stream livestream on YouTube:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8gYVEZqUnAg
Except for in the United Arab Emirates, Canada, Hong Kong, Saudi Arabia, Singapore and the USA. But if you have a VPN, then that should be no problem. =)
Though GMA also sometimes deletes/privates the livestream later.
I’ve seen people talk about how people worldwide should subscribe to GMA Pinoy TV in order to watch the series. I’d recommend that if you are interested in watching lots of Filipino programming. But if you only want to watch Voltes V: Legacy, I don’t think it’d be a good investment. Especially since you can’t watch the series on demand anyway. GMA Pinoy TV is a linear, premium TV channel on most cable and satellite systems.
