The 10th Leg of the Race has teams in Phang Nga, Thailand and traveling to Natai Beach by songthaew.
The 9th Leg of the Race begins with teams driving 200km to Omandumba in the heart of the Erongo Mountains. The next clue awaits at the gates of the Erong Mountain Nature Sanctuary.
Hanto excitedly goes to Boss Soji to tell him about his experience with the Granute, but he finds he is not in the office. He calls, but there is no answer. Remembering he was out on a stake out in place of him last night, Hanto goes to the location. But he ends up finding his things scattered on the ground.
Speaking of, Sakito and Byundi are by Genba’s side as he wakes up after they bandage him up. Though Genba’s memory is a bit fuzzy, they remind him that he lost to Disrace. Badly. But they suddenly hear a harmonica playing nearby. It is a familiar-looking railroad maintenance worker.
Welp, after a few solid weeks, we’re back to more wobbly footing with Pulang Araw. Dare I say it was quite a boring week, to be honest.
The day continues for the teams as they begin the 8th Leg by driving to the Skeleton Coast.
The 7th Leg of the Race takes teams to Namibia where they start the Leg at Walvis Bay International Airport. The first clue, including 365 Namibian dollars, directs teams to drive themselves into the Namib Desert to find Dune 7, one of the highest in the world.
Shoma is shocked to wake up to a Granute looking down on him. He quickly henshins and knocks the Granute onto the bed. But the Granute is excited to see Shoma is doing well after the surgery and to see the Gochizo’s power first h and. He’s just annoyed though that Bouche had not told him of his progress sooner.
Meanwhile, Sakito heads to Hashiri Curry, a new curry restaurant that’s opened up, to give it a try. But he is confused after his plate is empty after only one bite. He tells Byundi that the one bite was delicious, but he wants his full plate.
Definitely the strongest week of Pulang Araw yet. Obviously not perfect still. But this week’s episodes definitely delivered what I think many (myself included) came into the series for.
