Recap: Power Rangers Ninja Steel, Episode 6 – "I'm going to put my nose where it doesn't belong."

Recap: Power Rangers Ninja Steel, Episode 6 – My Friend, Redbot
PRNS06

It’s time for a dance at school. Redbot’s been reading all about a grand ball in his book and he decides to ask Hayley if she would like to go to this similar dance with him. She laughs at him, thinking he’s joking and says of course not. She says bye and she’ll see him later.

But Redbot is sad since he wasn’t joking at all. Continue reading

I’m Going to Miss American Television!

Will Power Rangers (Super) Samurai ever end? What’ll be the big cliffhanger on Grimm? Will the Winchester Bros (please) get rid of Dick and his Leviannoying betheren?

I’m going to have to wait until next month to find out as I’m going to be in the Philippines (and Korea!) for the next five weeks. So no American television for me, even if I’m able to miraculously find good internet in the Philippine countryside. I’ll have to get my fill of TV from the local networks in the Islands. (OMG the tired, overused, overdramatic, poorly written, poorly acted horror!) lol, Just kidding. I’m sure there’ll be something to tune in to.

So no Samurai, no Grimm, no Supernatural, not even The Amazing Race Australia premiering soon (which I will be recapping as soon as I get back). But you can tweet at me @dryedmangoez with any interesting TV stuffs like whether or not the Rangers stop making Mia cooking jokes. You can also follow my little trip, if you are so inclined, on my personal Twitter (@lesterjeff and on Instagram (dryedmangoez). I’ll be tweeting my “adventures” using the insanely expensive roaming plan on my cell phone.

But fear not! I have a few posts queued up for the coming weeks, so be on the lookout for those. I hope everyone will have a great next five weeks and great summer (hopefully, at least better than ABC will have with its Big Brother rip-off). Happy and safe TV travels everyone!

Current Events Shift Programming

Keep the people in Asia in your prayers… I didn’t realize how devastating it was until today

Just a kinda random fact: ABC Family has pulled Monday’s airing of the DinoThunder episode “Isn’t It Lava-ly” which involes the Megazord fighting the week’s monster in the ocean using a huge wave (the “hang ten” attack)… episodes of other ABC Family shows that involve ocean and water have been pulled from the January schedule as well…

This isn’t the first time current events have affected PR programming… the finale of Lost Galaxy, “Journey’s End” was going to air within days of the Shuttle Columbia explosion, but was pulled because in the finale, their space station crashed onto the surface of Mirinoi’s moon… also, the same episode were edited to remove scenes of suicide bombers who would cling on to buildings AND people and explode…
Last year, the Ninja Storm episode “Snip It, Snip It Good” was delayed for months becuase it had “war” related scenes… the episode was to air just after President Bush’s declaration of war.

Mesodon Simbang Gabi Apology

I LOVE MY MESODON MEGAZORD

Too bad we can only go to ONE SIMBANG GABI this year… though I did have fun driving around the HOLY ANGELS parking lot with no one around… lol

THE BACKLASH BEGINS

At Jonathan and Victoria’s website: www.jonathanbakerandvictoriafuller.com, Jonathan AND Victoria both post messages concerning their time on the race:

Jonathan’s post:
All of us have our faults. Unfortunately for me millions of viewers are getting to see mine each week. I do not abuse Victoria,
what you see is a heighten version of stress and obsession mix with medication for a sickness called Sarcoidosis. What was started as a Publicity Stunt turn in to an obsession to race and be first at any cost. This is a GAME and I set out to be the Villain to others not to Victoria. Victoria and I are working on our relationship to better our self and learn from our mistakes. I am taking full responsibly for my actions on screen. Please allow me to make the effort.

I am deeply saddened by the storyline that CBS went with. I am sorry for my actions, I am sorry to Victoria. Most all I am sorry to the Fans of the Amazing Race.

Jonathan

And Victoria’s post:
Don’t worry, I am fine. Its a TV show and not a true reflection of our relationship. We both over reacted.

Victoria

GO LONGHORNS

DAMN… THE PATRIOTS LOST?!?!? The last part of the game I saw was when the NE scored their 2nd TD… wow… very surprising… 28-29

HIRE BETTER ASSASSINS ALISTAIR!

Hmm… encore of PRDT‘s Made in Japanathon this Saturday with It’s a Mad, Mad Mackeral (somehow that doesn’t look like its spelled right, oh well)

I have to wait until after the Philippines to get my new
Giants cap… fitted caps are very “popular” in the PI so I just got an orange Longhorns cap and a very inexpensive, child-size PRDT cap

You should listen to these songs: Patiently by Emma Lahana; Apologize by Republic and Wheels and Brass Bed by Josh Gracin
good songs

and some random cheers for anyone who might understand… BEAT HIS A$$ ANTONIO! TAKE THAT SLUTTY BITCH DOWN LIZ! HIRE BETTER ASSASSINS ALISTAIR!

g’nite!

I had an 8 hour tape…

Very touching eulogies this morning… I remember reading those about those stories BushOne included in his eulogy.

Hmm… so tomorrow at 8:30AM Bully for Ethan will air, and on Sunday at 10:30AM after the Made-in-Japan-athon, Lost and Found in Translation will air. Two new PRDT eps in one weekend… very nice, lol…

Darn… TAR isn’t going to air on AXN in the Philippines, so I guess I will have to record the first 3 episodes. Hopefully the power here won’t go out or something and erase all the stuff… I remember when we went to Seattle, I wanted to see the edited version of The 10th Kingdom that was going to air on NBC that weekend. I had an 8 hour tape, and not one single minute recorded, even though I had set it on Thursday… ahh, its ok I have the DVDs…
