Another season of Super Sentai has come and gone and another one is days away from premiering. A few years ago, I started to rank the seasons of both Kamen Rider and Super Sentai I have watched so far. And wow! I’ve now watched 16 seasons of Sentai. And it’s been almost 16 years since I watched my first one in Shinkenger!
Another season of Super Sentai has come and gone and another one is days away from premiering. A few years ago, I started to rank the seasons of both Kamen Rider and Super Sentai I have watched so far. And wow! I’ve now watched 15 seasons of Sentai. And it’s been almost 15 years since I watched my first one in Shinkenger!
So with King-Ohger having wrapped up its run and Boonboomger coming up, it’s time to update that list. So here we go!
To put how I feel about the season in the simplest terms: I feel bad I don’t like it more than I do.
Dagded asks who the Ohgers think they are. So the Ohgers bravely do a roll call, proudly declaring they are the kings who, together as the Ohsama Sentai King-Ohger, will defeat him.
Gira is relieved to see the castleship launching into space. But Dagded says Kamejim will take care of that. Gira is shocked to see the castleship come crashing back down to the ground.
Dagded laughs as Gira screams in agony.
Feeling like their lives were insignificant dots in the vast universe, people looked up to the sky to seek meaning for their existence.
Dagded arrives and gloats about how entertaining it was to watch Gurodi clean up the planet of Bugnarak. The survivors of that genocide escaped to Chikyuu, resulting in a war between Bugnarak and humans. And now it is time to repeat that fun here.
Gurodi suddenly leads a rampage of Ishabana. The Ohgers hurry over. While the others take care of Gurodi’s resurrected grunts, Hymeno prepares to use her King’s Power to finish him off for good. Hymeno’s crown summons a sickle that she says will reap Gurodi’s life. But while the attack knocks Gurodi on his back and kills the innocent tree bystanders, he snaps back up to his feet without trouble.
Yanma hands everyone’s King’s Proof trinket back and says they’ve all been unsealed. Gira wonders if it’s because they came together as one. But they don’t care to think about it now.
On the day of Gira’s coronation, his old childhood friend from the orphanage Devonica arrives to take him and the other Ohgers to Hakabaka, the land of the dead.
