Teams must first stop at the Yield Board in front of Fort San Pedro before heading to the Mandaue Municipal Hall.
Teams are at Fort San Pedro where they will be engaging in another “duel duel” Double Battle. There are three large “coins” that are split in half. The first team to flip the halves over to make up their corresponding image (Lapu-Lapu or Ferdinand Magellan) on all three coins will win each round. The team that wins best of 3 will get the next clue.
The kind uploaders have for some reason labeled Tuesday’s episode as Wednesday’s episode. So good news, there’s a FULL Tuesday episode available. Bad news, apparently no Wednesday upload.
Roch & Eji are excited to fly. AJ & Jody hop on the same bus as them heading towards Manila International Airport. Jet & Yna take an ordinary (non-air conditioned) bus for the first time ever, but it’s okay since it’s raining.
The next Leg begins immediately and teams must drive to Farinas Transit Terminal to sign up for one of two chartered buses. The first bus leaves at 11pm and will carry 3 teams while the second bus leaves at 1am and will carry 4 teams. Teams will get P68 for this Leg.
No Pit Stop episode upload, but even without it, I can say that this Ilocos Leg has been the best Leg and week of episodes so far this season.
An amazing episode!
Too bad I didn’t get to watch it. No uploaded episode =(
AJ & Jody open the next clue revealing the Detour for this Leg of the Race.
In Music, teams must drive to Macy’s Diner and recruit 15 people to join them in a song and dance performance. Once their performance becomes a hit and the owner enjoys it, they’ll receive their next clue.
In Massage, teams will drive to Nail Lounge and Massage Salon where they must enjoy a painful traditional foot massage for 5 minutes on each foot.
Teams must now drive back down to the Paoay Sand Dunes where they must ride ATVs across the 88 hectare dunes to find their next clue. There are baskets at 20 Rexona checkpoints. Three of them contain clues. Others contain either nothing, an hourglass they must turn over and wait to run out before continuing on or Rexona passes that guarantee the next three checkpoints do not have clues.
Teams must drive to Kapurpurawan Rock formation in Burgos and ride a horse to the next challenge area. There, teams must use rocks from a pile to build a 1.5 meter-high pagoda. The clue giver will use his magical cane to measure it and grant them one wish before handing them the next clue.
