The Ohgers are excited to be arriving back home on their Chikyuu. But they are met by Dagded’s swarm of Shubugs. Rita takes control of the spaceship, saying they have no choice but to just charge through the swarm and back to the castle’s foundation in Shugoddam. Yanma and Gira grab a lever to help safely slip the castle into position.
Meanwhile, as Houtarou falls back to Earth, he quickly locks in Ganvhale and Spicle to Gotchanko to Spiclewhale. As a big whale bike, he sucks Riku in and whisks him to safety. But Riku is only worried about Saboneedle whom he has named Sabosuke.
JTBC’s The Good Bad Mother (나쁜엄마) might just be my favorite Korean drama of 2023. I challenge anyone to not shed some tears at least once during the series’ excellent 14 episodes. And that’s tears from the series’ many emotional stories or from laughing so much at its welcome and well-placed humor. Ra Mi Ran and Lee Do Hyun deliver masterful and captivating performances, leading a strong ensemble cast as they help bring to life a truly breathtaking and beautiful story.
Kabutobushin Deboth has to retreat when his body is unable to adapt to the Brave he’s sucked in. Prince and the Ohgers return to the evacuation center. Hymeno helps with the injured Souji. But the other survivors are feeling down and defeated.
The AA4 (Alchemist Academy 4 lol) are out looking for MechaniChani Chemy which is difficult to find as it can cause electronics to malfunction and hates bright light. But Rinne, Ringe and Sabimaru are impressed as Houtarou uses a makeshift fishing pole, dried squid and SmaPhone Chemy to quickly track down MechaniChani in the creek.
Niji no Hebi leader Amakusa Shirou Tokisada has taken over Konjou Company and captured Rentarou’s sister Iroha. Unfortunately, Rentarou has used up all his shinobi power trying to force his way into the castle to save her.
Not knowing where they are, Yanma suggests they go speak with the king of this land. But they encounter Zorimas rounding up people seemingly in some kind of stupor. Gira and Yanma whip out their Caliburs to take the Zorimas on. But Rippukan Souji arrives and easily takes care of the grunts with a few swipes.
Lachesis tires to fuse a Chemy with an angry woman who has just been dumped by her boyfriend by enticing her with the prospect of revenge. Spanner, however, arrives just in time to catch the Chemy. Lachesis leaves and Spanner tells the woman that vengeance is not a virtue.
Woo Do Hwan and Lee Sang Yi are charismatic and captivating leading men as two boxers who get caught up in the dark and violent world of underground money lending. A strong mix of personal, character-driven stories and exciting, pulpy action make Netflix’s Bloodhounds (사냥개들) one fun, thrilling ride.
Jeramie is shocked to see Mama Nephila right in front of him. She hugs him and asks for him to save her. He hugs her back. But Dagded pops up and takes her into the palm of his hand, saying she belongs to him. He will use her to clean up Shugoddam tomorrow.
