Recap: Voltes V: Legacy, Episode 64 – Ned’s Plan

After Volting In, the Voltes team prepare another Ultraelectromagnetic Ball. It seems to be more stable this time. But Desler 2.0’s shield absorbs their power. They can’t believe Mechanical Eagle’s Plan is not the deus ex machina they thought it was.
As Voltes V is caught in Desler’s grip, Mechanical Eagle flies in again and the pilot says they have to follow his plan now. They have no choice but to trust the mysterious ally. The Mechanical person tells them to try their Volt In button again. They fly in the air and when Steve pushes it, Voltes V opens up a section on its back for Mechanical Eagle to dock and insert a special energy capsule.
Voltes V now has the power it needs to properly defeat Desler for good. The Zardozians can’t believe they’re lost again. Zardoz orders his generals to find out who Mechanical Eagle is.
Steve says they must follow Mechanical Eagle to find out exactly whether or not it is Papa. But Mechanical Eagle has supersonic speed and gets away. Mechanical Eagle lands back in the rebel camp and it is indeed Papa HrothNed.
Episode Thoughts
Welp, that was a barebones episode. lol A predictable battle and outcome, no doubt. Nice battle scenes, as usual. But I think by Episode 64, the wow factor is a bit less.
No surprises at all of course. We already knew it was Papa HrothNed in the Mechanical Eagle. We already knew the Zardozians are bumbling idiots.
But thankfully no love triangle stuff. And no Eva butting in. lol So that’s a big plus.
And also, why keep spoiling things with the episode titles that get blasted across official social media? lol
Voltes V: Legacy Episode 64 is supposed to be available on GMA Network’s official YouTube channel:
However, they’ve decided not to upload even split-part episodes so as to force people to watch live on TV or even the livestream since the ratings have been a bit lower than previous.

I’ve seen people talk about how people worldwide should subscribe to GMA Pinoy TV in order to watch the series. I’d recommend that if you are interested in watching lots of Filipino programming. But if you only want to watch Voltes V: Legacy, I don’t think it’d be a good investment. Especially since you can’t watch the series on demand anyway. GMA Pinoy TV
