“Napaka-selfish mo naman!”

Big Bert says he is not selfish. He is willing to risk his life to save their Papa, just like how Mama Armstrong did the same to save them.

Big Bert flies away and the other four have to deal with the Beastfighter. Steve apologizes to Dr. Hook that he was not able to stop his brother. Dr. Hook asks Major Kelly to request as much backup from EDF as possible to support Big Bert.

Draco is confident in Zoldier after he sees only Voltes IV arriving in the city.

Episode Thoughts

So Dr. Hook is a softie now after one episode. lol Okay.

Watching the split-up episode on GMA’s YouTube, it’s funny how Part 2 is basically the typical Toei recap episode lol I thought it was only for Sentai and Kamen Rider. But I guess it’s standard practice lol

Anyway, I notice a formula now with Voltes V: Legacy. Basically, each story involves someone being stubborn, causing trouble and then having everything work itself out in the end. Lather, rinse and repeat. It would work for self-contained episodes. Not so much for a teleserye format.

Is this how people felt when watching Zaido back then? (I never watched regularly as it aired lol)

This was mostly a bridge episode. So, just okay.

Voltes V: Legacy Episode 52 is available on GMA Network’s official YouTube channel:
However, it is restricted to the Philippines only. Hopefully it will be made available worldwide soon!

I’ve seen people talk about how people worldwide should subscribe to GMA Pinoy TV in order to watch the series. I’d recommend that if you are interested in watching lots of Filipino programming. But if you only want to watch Voltes V: Legacy, I don’t think it’d be a good investment. Especially since you can’t watch the series on demand anyway. GMA Pinoy TV is a linear, premium TV channel on most cable and satellite systems.
