Big Bert mumbles to Steve that they’re going to have a lot of bad days with this guy. Dr. Hook asks if he has a problem. He wants them to sleep early today because they will have a long day tomorrow. Episode Thoughts

Dr. Hook is badass! Just what the Voltes team needs, to be honest. Tama naman lahat na sinabi niya eh. Not a lie detected in anything Dr. Hook said. The Voltes team is obviously mayabang. (I mean, they were cocky even before they were Voltes pilots. How much more now lol)

Overconfident and complacent. I mean, they’ve been tricked and hoodwinked several times already. And they’ve been taken by surprised more often than not. I definitely agree about the early celebrations. It’s a problem on Power Rangers too lol Celebrating small wins when the enemy is still right in front of them.

So they definitely need this kick in the ass. And seeing Dr. Hook give it to them is so awesome! I felt very exhilarated watching him tear the Voltes team a new one. A well-deserved dressing down. Just look at how they acted when the Beastfighter flew away. It’s that kind of cocky attitude that will end up killing more people. Not Dr. Hook’s training.

I think the show itself also needed this kick in the ass. It’s been so-so, gliding along with its poor pacing. But this energy boost is quite exciting and a lot of fun to watch. Hope it lasts for a while. And I hope Dr. Hook is proven right. No need for more things to feed the Voltes team’s fragile egos lol

Voltes V: Legacy Episode 50 is available on GMA Network’s official YouTube channel:
However, it is restricted to the Philippines only. Hopefully it will be made available worldwide soon!

I’ve seen people talk about how people worldwide should subscribe to GMA Pinoy TV in order to watch the series. I’d recommend that if you are interested in watching lots of Filipino programming. But if you only want to watch Voltes V: Legacy, I don’t think it’d be a good investment. Especially since you can’t watch the series on demand anyway. GMA Pinoy TV is a linear, premium TV channel on most cable and satellite systems.
