The Kiramagers are working on getting stronger to be able to fight Yodonna. They agree having King Oradin back is great and they can call him whenever they want. But Mashin Zabyun says since Oradin is in Atamald, they can’t easily contact him without traveling there personally on Hakobu.
Sayo asks Mabushina about how difficult it must be to not be able to speak with her father. But Mabushina says just knowing he’s alive makes her happy.
Sena suggests they find a 7th Kiramager. Juuru notices Muryou in a pensive mood. But before they can ask him what he’s thinking about, they have to head out to face a Jamenshi that’s just popped up.
The Kiramagers discover Mannequin Jamen has frozen people in place like mannequins. He does the same to Sena. And before he can also mannequinize Juuru, Takamichi comes flying in to stop the Jamenshi.
The Kiramagers henshin and take on Mannequin Jamen. Takamichi says they should finish it off with some Go power. But when Juuru summons Kiraful Go Arrow, nothing happens. Mabushina apologizes and says Muryou just left with it for the lab.
Mabushina says she heard Muryou saying “It’s my time to shine.” and that he would be modifying the Arrow to help in a pinch just like his promise to King Oradin.
Their pause allows Mannequin Jamen to escape. The Kiramagers wonder why Muryou might be thinking on doing. Takamichi believes Muryou is finding a way to become the 7th Kiramager.
Back at the coconut tree, Takamichi recounts the day King Oradin was to take Takamichi to Crystalia. Though he was fading in and out of consciousness, he heard King Oradin say Muryou was a true warrior whom they will rely on in a pinch. Muryou said he would keep that promise.
Takamichi thinks King Oradin believed Muryou had what it takes to become a Kiramager.
Takamichi realizes he hasn’t been able to be there for his little brother all these years. So now he wants to help him become a Kiramager. Mabushina says she’s always felt guilty about all the time she’s had with Takamichi while Muryou was left alone. She would like to help support Muryou as well.
The others are surprised about Muryou possibly becoming a Kiramager, but the Stones are all in.
Takamichi says they can call his brother Kiramai Gold.
Over at a mannequin warehouse, Mannequin Jamen runs into Yodonna who whips his butt to power him up.
Juuru and Tametomo look in on Muryou working on the Arrow.
Tametomo says it would be faster if they used the Arrow to defeat the Jamenshi instead of waiting for Muryou to become a Kiramager. Takamichi and Mabushina stop them from going in and implore Tametomo to understand Muryou’s resolve.
Juuru looks in again and sees Muryou with lots of kirakira.
The Kiramagers have to hurry out when Mannequin Jamen begins rampaging again. But this time thanks to Yodonna’s whipping, he is able to turn people into real mannequins instead of just freezing them. The Jamenshi turns Sayo into a mannequin and the boys henshin.
While the Kiramagers take on powered up Bechats, Carantula is upset that Yodonna’s gone and whipped another one of his creations, thus shortening its life span. Carantula is so upset that his staff is filled with Darkness and can now send a Jamenju.
Carantula sends over Torso Hildon and Tametomo hops into Kiramaizin to hold it off. Zabyun helps to search for the Jamenju’s weakness, but it is hard to attack when it flies around.
Muryou is on the rooftop of the coconut tree and shoots the Arrow.
Takamichi tells Juuru and Shiguru that Muryou has always helped him shine and now he wants to return the favor.
Juuru says he doesn’t think Muryou is trying to become a fighter. So he will call for the Arrow. Muryou apologizes for the delay and says he’s sending over the upgraded Kiraful Go Arrow right now.
Takamichi asks what happened to Kiramai Gold. But Muryou says he was actually modifying Go Arrow to enable them to call King Oradin whenever they needed to. Muryou says he and the king have an understanding.
Back before King Oradin took Takamichi to Crystalia, Muryou asked the king to take care of his brother and offered him some Earth souvenirs for the king and queen. But Muryou also packed Takamichi’s favorite manga. He said Takamichi is a kind and passionate person who would do anything to help Crystalia. So if Takamichi were to stay on Crystalia, Muryou knows he would want to have his favorite manga with him.
King Oradin says Muryou is very thoughtful and believes both brothers have the kirakira to become warriors. Muryou says only Takamichi does and he has always supported him.
King Oradin says warriors are able to fight because they trust the people who support them. The king says he likes Muryou and promises to lend him his strength whenever he needs and calls him for it. King Oradin says Muryou has wonderful Kiramental and is a true warrior.
Takamichi understands what he heard now.
Juuru says he knew all along that Muryou wasn’t trying to become a Kiramager. Muryou has always supported them when they need help. And that’s when he kirakiras the most.
Muryou says he’s already called King Oradin who arrives with Hakobu.
Juuru and Shiguru go Go! While Shiguru and Takamichi take care of Mannequin Jamen, Juuru hops in with Oradin and Hakobu to help Tametomo. And together as Greatful Phoenix, they finish off Torso Hildon.
Muryou tells Oradin that it’s great to see him again after all this time. Oradin says it’s thanks to Muryou that they can now easily communicate between worlds. And that includes Mabushina being able to speak with him anytime she wants as well.
Takamichi hugs his brother and Mabushina joins in as well.
Sayo is kinda sad they won’t be getting Kiramai Gold.
Episode Thoughts
You can never go wrong with a Crystalia Family-related episode. (Well, except for the last one.)
Really though, it’s been two weeks and I still can’t get over how much of a douche Oradin came off like last episode. This episode highlighted that even more since the Oradin we knew before Episode 29 was the same Oradin we saw in Takamichi and Muryou’s flashback here. And the Stone version of Oradin was also less of a jerk as well.
Having him now essentially just being a mecha kind of dilutes the emotion and drama we got from both Takamichi and Mabushina all season. What’s the point of reviving him now? Just so he could be a power-up and new mecha? I think they could’ve brought in the new power and mecha without using Oradin’s soul or whatever it is, like this. It would’ve been much more impactful if Oradin’s resurrection came after more struggles and at a more climactic moment. Now, we don’t have that possibility. So it’s a missed opportunity for what could’ve been another excellent story from this season.
But anyway, it’s a positive for me to see a less-brash King Oradin.
This was a great episode nonetheless. We got a silly, though very creative and amusing Jamenshi and Jamenju. Yet the episode had a really wonderful story. It made me wish we get more young Muryou and Oradin. I definitely want to see more young Muryou and Takamichi as well.
We don’t usually get nice episodes focusing on mentor figures or supporting characters. So this was a great treat. And it helps that Muryou is a great character. (Though all the main characters on Kiramager are great, after all!)
I loved Mabushina and Takamichi’s moment where she mentions feeling guilty about enjoying her time with him yet knowing Muryou has been left alone without his older brother. That’s the kind of care and depth the season has given to its characters. Little moments like that go a really long way.
On the other hand, I’m not too sure about Juuru’s involvement this episode. To be honest, I thought Juuru’s “Aha! I knew it all along” was actually kind of annoying. Yes, we get that Juuru’s got a special connection to Oradin. But let’s not have him be some perfect shining jewel that knows everything. This episode would’ve been perfectly fine without him essentially butting in to prove everyone else was wrong while he knew better.
On a season that has given great, balanced focus to each character, Juuru felt very shoehorned in to the story that should have been focused on Muryou, Takamichi, Mabushina and Oradin.
On a lighter note, Yodonna whipping Jamenshi and Bechats in the ass is getting very suggestive. So strange! lol
Overall, it was a wonderful story and a great episode. Well-deserved focus for Muryou (with another great character song!). And nice moments with his brother and adopted sister as well!

I have the feeling that Yodonna whipping monsters in the ass is supposed to be suggestive. LOL!
And it was nice that Kiramager had an eps. that shows that having support is just as important as having fighters on the front line. Good message.
Yes, very good message.
