As we bring 2021 to a close, it is of course time for those end-of-year lists! Lists ranking everything from TV shows to TikTok trends. You could probably find a list ranking anything you could ever imagine.
Last year, I started the Music Monday feature here on DryedMangoez.com in which I shared some of the music I’ve been listening to each week. And of course, at the end of the year, I had to rank my favorites. But for me, I always have trouble ranking things. Whether it’s music or seasons of my favorite TV shows. I’m pretty indecisive that way.

In difficult, unprecedented times like this year has been, music can be a great escape if even for just a couple of minutes. 2020 had lots of great new music to enjoy. I wanted to share some of my favorites. It’s always hard for me to rank songs or TV shows because I’m pretty indecisive that way. lol I set out to maybe list 20 songs and here I couldn’t even keep it to 50! And then when I do have them listed, I always second guess and think a song should be higher which then has me shuffling the whole thing again. lol
Last week, I listed my 20 favorite songs of the year so far. Technically, all of them were singles/title tracks complete with music videos. But sometimes, the best songs aren’t title tracks. I’ve found that there are always hidden gems on the rest of the album.
