While the five teams still have COVID, Beau welcomes himself back and the Race must go on in the next city, Cartagena. Teams begin the Leg by hopping into taxis to take them to La Perla Negra.
Beau says he is all clear and is packing to rejoin the Race. In the meantime, the 11th Leg begins with clues telling teams to fly to Medellin, Colombia. Once known as the murder capital of the world, it is now a friendly city.
Two Stowaway teams Kathy & Chace and Stuart & Glennon arrive at the hotel in Turkiye before teams fly to their next country: Colombia. However, only SEVEN teams will be flying out because Tiffany & Cynthia, Fliss & Tottie, Jodie & Claire, Kelly & Georgia and Lauren & Steph have COVID and will sit out the Race until the Final Leg they test negative and the show determines when it is best for their budget to fly them out to the next country.
Teams travel to Alacati, Turkiye where they will Race on the 9th Leg. Kathy & Chace and Stuart & Glennon are STILL in quarantine because of COVID.
Beau is still in quarantine, as are Kathy & Chace and Stuart & Glennon. Because Ada experienced some troubles at the end of the last Leg, Scott Tweedie will fill in for Beau in the meantime.
The 7th Leg of the Race begins with teams opening the first clue telling them to fly to Izmir, Turkey/Turkiye. But not everyone will be traveling today. Kathy & Chace…
Teams head to Arachova for the 6th Leg of the Race. The first clue tells teams to head to the Church of Saint George, climb 264 steps and then dress up as a bridge and groom. As part of Greek wedding tradition, the groom must pin €10,000 to the bride. And when the bride can spin three times without any money falling off, they’ll get the next clue.
The 5th Leg of the Race will take place in Santorini. With €35 for this Leg, teams must drive themselves in manual cars to the fishing port in Vlychada. Some of the teams have no idea how to drive stick, plus they have to drive on the opposite side of the road. And they also have to navigate the narrow roads with some teams bumping into random cars parked along the way.
The 4th Leg begins at the Chefchaouen Clock and teams learn they will be flying to the snowy Athens, Greece. Unfortunately, Kathy & Chace will pause their Race due to COVID-19 and will resume once they gain medical clearance.
The third Leg of the Race will take place in the blue city of Chefchaouen. Beau says that in a “world first,” 18 teams will be Racing together. The two groups of teams are told to meet Beau in Chefchaouen. The Melbourne teams are shocked to see another group of teams walking toward them. The Sydney teams are shocked to see another group of teams waiting at the mosque.
