Well, if TARAu5 was exhausting, I don’t know how to describe TARAu6. Lol. But it’s finally (thankfully) over.
Teams fly to Broome, the gateway to the Kimberley, for the Final Leg. Upon arrival, teams open the first clue telling them to head to Sun Picture Garden where they must feed each other sweet and sour pork using 2.4m-long chopsticks.
The Penultimate Leg of this 56 Leg Race has teams first taking a ferry to Rottnest Island.
It’s time for the Final Five teams to go home and fly to Perth.
Teams get no rest once again as they open the next clue telling them to drive to Izamal. Kelly & Georgia are in the front of the caravan and Kelly suggests they try and lose the other teams. But Georgia says that’s a waste of time and mean.
Teams continue Racing by driving to Merida where they will encounter a Double U-Turn at Palacio Municipal de Merida.
Teams will travel eight hours on one of two buses from Belize across the border into Mexico and the city of Campeche. The order they arrive will depend on the “loco” Mexican traffic.
Steph & Lauren randomly returns to the Race out of nowhere and the 15th Leg begins with the teams all released by claxon to catch one of two boats departing 15 minutes apart to Caye Caulker. On the first boat are of course Angel & Frankie, Pako & Mori, Heath & Toni and Kelly & Georgia.
The 14th Leg begins with Stowaways the COVID teams returning to the Race. Actually, only four of them. Lauren & Steph are still in isolation. The four and four teams have a reunion and Beau arrives to hand each of them a clue before flagging them all off at the same time.
For this 13th Leg of the Race, teams will fly to Belize City, Belize. Unfortunately, COVID is “still creating chaos” for flight reservations and that has resulted in Angel being bumped off of the flight from Cartagena. She will have to fly on her own to Cancun and then travel by land into Belize where she will reunite with Frankie. Until then, Frankie will Race alone.
