Kamen Rider Gotchard: The Future Daybreak might be one of my favorite Kamen Rider or Sentai movies. It’s a great movie because unlike many others, the stakes here are actually high and there is actually a connection to the series itself. Often times, the movies have very thin connections to the weekly series. But The Future Daybreak‘s interconnectedness with the series helps to elevate its story and impact.
At Gotchard Private High School is Class 3G which is full of eccentric students. They assemble on the rooftop as class delinquent Clotho, rich girl Lachesis and hot jock Supana prepare to battle to become the class’ top dog. Class president Houtarou tries to stop them, reminding them their class is supposed to be where everyone can smile and be happy.
Before he is completely engulfed by gold, Minato-sensei advises Houtarou to believe in himself and push forward.
As he has trouble making the right adjustments to his Driver, Supana can’t help but think of Gigist’s words about the black flames inside him.
After Rinne suddenly disappears in pain, Sabimaru says the crest on her hand was Gaelijah’s.
Kamen Rider The Winter Movie: Gotchard & Geats Strongest Chemy★Great Gotcha Operation is an interesting movie. While its main conflict is okay, the way it treats the characters from each season leaves such an odd taste in my mouth. At some parts I cringed. At other parts I rolled my eyes. And that is unfortunately too big of a negative for me to enjoy this particular Movie War.
Gaelijah laughs at Supana’s address to the nation saying no one can escape their fate. Meanwhile, Supana is riding on his motorbike when Lachesis stops him in the middle of the street. She says that even though his display was quite pathetic, she would still like to know his goal here.
The Academy gang are watching YouTuber Tacchan who is leading the online charge against the conspiracy regarding the mysterious monsters called Chemies.
As Houtarou and Rinne battle Jungle Malgam, Clotho pops in and knocks Ryo to the ground before he can reach Hijiri. Houtarou turns his attention to Clotho who says that Gaelijah considers Hijiri as a woman who can change the world. And that way, Clotho will be able to have her wish granted.
When Gurion visits Gaelijah, she tells him that he is a fool deluded by his gold dreams. And that makes it impossible for someone like him to see the world as it should rightfully be. Gurion challenges her to show him this rightful world and how it could possibly compare to his.
