The Zenkaigers wake up in the middle of the forest and look out over the city to see it is returning back to normal. They assume Zox has defeated Dai Recycle World and they find him to thank him. Zyuran hands Zox a basket full of Gears, hoping one of them is SDtopia. But the Zenkaigers are confused to see Zox in a pissy mood.
Up on the ship, Zox thinks about Stacey’s offer to him. If Zox defeats Zenkaizer, Stacey will hand him the Gear he’s looking for.
Zox, however, asks if Stacey can bring him to the Palace instead. He prefers grabbing something for himself with his own hands. Stacey agrees to the new proposal and they both agree on the terms.
Zox tells Flint that even if they don’t end up with the Gear, they wouldn’t have lost anything by defeating Kaito anyway.
Next day, Zox goes to the shop to tell them about defeating Zenkaizer. Grandma Yacchan and the others take issue with the idea, but Kaito agrees to the duel as long as it means the Goldtsuikers get SDtopia. Since Zox came and asked nicely instead of stabbing him in the back, Kaito is more willing to accept. Plus, there’s still a chance he wins anyway.
Over at the Palace, Barashitara confronts Ijirude about staying in his lane.
At the quarry, Kaito and Zox henshin and begin their duel as their teammates and siblings cheer them on. Zox uses the Shinkenger and Ohranger Gears, while Kaito uses the Liveman Gear. When things are still even, Kaito whips out the Battle Fever J Gear and he and Zox take part in a dance off.
Zox then uses a Kyuranger Gear and embiggens using Kotaro’s Koguma Sky Blue power. Secchan suggests Kaito use a Maskman Gear, but nothing happens. That gives Zox time to use a finisher at Kaito who seemingly explodes.
The Goldtsuikers celebrate Zox’s win. But the Zenkaigers cry in agony over the death of their friend.
Stacey appears and commends Zox on the good work. But he won’t be bringing the siblings to the Palace in one piece. This is part of the plan hatched with Ijirude to have the Zenkaigers fight and destroy each other.
But the Zenkaigers and Zox expected this too. Kaito floats in having used Maskman’s Aura Power as part of their own plan to fool Stacey.
Stacey cannot believe it. Zox says it’s because Kaito is more fun to hang around with. The Goldtsuikers’ motto is to dive in head first into fun things. Stacey thinks this is the most absurd thing.
How dare Stacey use the Goldtsuiker Family’s suffering, Kaito says. If Stacey wants to kill him, he should do it himself.
Stacey henshins and says he wants to kill Kaito himself too.
The Zenkaigers all henshin and they first battle Kudakks and Kudaiters. Flint helps out by shooting from a boulder.
Kaito and Zox face Stacey who summons JAKQ clones. The clones send Kaito flying over the cliff before they take on Zox. Secchan asks Vroom to tell Zox to use the JAKQ Blitzkrieg Force Gear. Secchan explains that with this Gear, Zox has the authority of Big One and is able to switch the clones’ allegiance back to their side against Stacey.
Stacey finishes off the clones and that gives Kaito enough time to jump back up.
The others finish off the Kudaiters just as Stacey is able to hop into Stacaesar. Zox tells the others to step back as he and his brothers form Twokai-Oh Ricky and then Cutanner.
Stacey and Zox battle. But Zox easily overpowers Stacey. The robo explodes and Stacey is thrown to the ground.
The others run over as Stacey dehenshins. He picks himself up and says this is far from over. He returns to the Palace. Ijirude is upset, but he turns his focus to the other plan he’s got in progress.
Back at the shop, Grandma Yacchan serves up some pizza sukiyaki and other delicious treats to celebrate the good day they had. Kaito puts a VIP sash on Zox.
Zox smiles and says this might not be what he hoped for today, but it isn’t too bad either.
Kaito looks at his parents’ photo and says his world continues to grow bigger. Especially now that they and Zox all get along now. Zox says it’s only how things worked out this time. But he won’t take back saying Kaito is pretty fun.
Definitely a far better episode than last week, that’s for sure! I very much enjoyed the Stacey-Zox dynamic. Even more so just getting to see more of Stacey really. I think they have some nice potential with his story. Especially as the Goldtsuikers’ story is pretty much set, it’s time for Stacey to get some needed character development.
This episode, based on the ending scene, appears to have focused on getting the Zenkaigers and the Goldtsuikers closer together. And that’s fine. Nothing surprising about the plot of the episode. We saw that fake out coming a mile away. (Especially when they basically told us they were going to be acting in the opening credits. Lol)
But for me, my biggest take away is Stacey’s story and the little bits we got with him.
Also, Kotaro confirmed as the official Kyuranger 6th. Sorry Stinger. Hehe Just kidding. But it was a fun scene to see.
Overall, a solid episode and definitely much better than some recent, obsession-focused episodes. If you know what I mean.

Happy to see the Zenkaigers and Goldtsuikers getting along.
Yes hopefully they can now turn to other stories.
It’s been a month since Zox and World Pirates joined the show, so it’s about time they settled their difference with Zenkaiger.
Even though Zenkaiger is 5 men team, World Pirates only has 1 ranger, so it made sense to have 1 (Kaito/Zenkaizer) on 1 (Zox/TwoKaizer) fight.
Nice to see Stacey is back in action!
While this is minor nitpick, it’s interesting that Stacey can only summon main/core ranger of rangers, where only 4 rangers from JAKQ were summoned, where Big One was summoned by TwoKaizer; it was nice to see that Big One is acknowledge as additional member of the team.
I also like that 4 Kikainoids worked together as well.
The mecha battle of TwokaiOh Cutanner and Stacaesar was good, where I like that it took place at sunset.
R.I.P. Stacaesar; looking forward to see Stacaesar Mark II (if it happens).
It was a very solid episode, after few episodes of mediocracy.
I like sunset/night mecha battles.
Yes, definitely a better episode.
