Our first quartet of songs this week includes a special anniversary treat from B1A4 and three attention-grabbing comebacks from BXW, AB6IX and ENHYPEN.
“Launch” by BXW
After a cute, sweet first comeback with “Candy” in January, Japanese boy band BXW’s new song “Launch” has them returning to a similar vibe as their debut. Singing a positive, affirming message while showcasing their strong, powerful performance skills, BXW asserts themselves with this great track.
“10 Times” by B1A4
B1A4 celebrates their 10th anniversary with the release of the romantic “10 Times.” The dreamlike track is quintessential B1A4 and should be a wonderful treat for fans who have been with the group throughout their ten years in the industry. It’s always great to see the group continuing to release new music. Their 10th anniversary is definitely cause for celebration. And what better way to celebrate than with another great track like “10 Times.”
“Close” by AB6IX
AB6IX’s “Close” is an excellent comeback. The pop dance track is a bright track about a strong and supportive love. The group is at their most charming with their charismatic performance matching with the romantic, hopeful lyrics. Upon first listen, it’s definitely one of my favorites from them.
“Drunk-Dazed” by ENHYPEN
I’ll be honest. I never expected ENHYPEN’s first comeback concept to involve wild drunk vampire clubbing. Especially when last I remember, most of the group is underage? lol Nonetheless, it definitely leaves a strong impression and the talented rookies show off their powerful performance skills. There’s definitely no lack of energy and that energy ends up being very contagious. You can’t help but fall into a drunk daze yourself while listening to the track and being mesmerized by their performance.
