“Bingo” by ASTER
I enjoyed ASTER’s debut title track “Bingo” when they performed it on All Out Sundays on the same day as its release. But they’ve just released the music video for the track and its eye-catching and slick visuals offer the group another opportunity to showcase their talent and charisma. Looking forward to what else the rookies have in store in the future.
“Legend” by KAVE
Though I am familiar with Gaho, I’m not so much with KAVE, a 5-member group of musicians and producers. Though formed in 2020, they release their first single Flight of Ideas this week. Title track “Legend” is a dramatic rock performance that definitely grabs your attention. I’ll be checking out the rest of the album for sure.
“Cool Down” by DIGNITY
I am also not familiar with the group DIGNITY, which debuted in 2022. But their latest title track “Cool Down” is a refreshing pop-dance track with some nostalgically retro vibes. The fun, relatable lyrics make for an enjoyable experience and the group’s charming performance has definitely motivated me to check out their debut as well the rest of this album, DIGIMOTION.
“The Giant” by APEX
I remember a bit about Like a Movie who debuted in 2018. But the members embark on a new chapter as they re-debut as APEX. Title track “The Giant” is a charismatic hip-hop/pop-dance track. The group gives a strong performance of the dynamic and catchy song. And I’ll definitely be keeping an eye for them with future releases.
“I Do I Do” by KARA
It’s a wonderful treat to have KARA releasing new music in 2024. And “I Do I Do” is a sweet, summery track for this special single. Nice, wholesome vibes from the veteran group. Certainly different from their always immediately danceable title tracks. But a pleasant performance for the season.
