It’s a Filipino Friday Saturday with fresh music from BGYO and 1st.One!
I don’t have to wait until Filipino Friday to talk about some fresh P-pop! With BILIB finally making their first official comeback, the debut of ASTER and GMA Network’s All Out Sundays beginning their P-Pop UNVRS segment featuring P-pop artists, I was motivated to actually look for the latest Filipino pop music. Unlike K-pop, it’s actually really hard to keep up with new P-pop releases especially since I’ve been used to songs and MVs getting teased and hyped and then released together.
But now’s as good a time as any to see what P-pop has to offer today!
Fresh OPM/P-pop releases from Stell, Josh Cullen, The Juans and ALAMAT and BGYO.
Music Monday is back on Monday! But it’s a Filipino Friday special this time! Lol Here’s new music from Press Hit Play, 1621BC, BGYO.
Checking out the latest new songs from sibling groups BINI and BGYO!
It’s that time of year again! Here are my 50 favorite songs of 2022!
I think I definitely enjoy this album a little more than their debut. Even with what little I’ve seen from them the last two years, I can see how much they’ve grown and developed. And continue to do so as well. It’s really great to see how rapidly P-pop is growing. And BGYO is definitely doing their part to help that.
Music Monday… on a MONDAY?! What?! lol
But yes! Let’s take a trip around Asia with new tracks from YOUNITE, OWV and BGYO.
After checking out VXON’s debut a few weeks, it got me wondering about what else P-pop has to offer. Aside from the huge strides SB19 has made to reenergize Filipino pop music the last few years, I’ve been only vaguely aware of how much “P-pop” is booming lately. Without TFC or GMA Pinoy TV subscriptions for now two years, my only exposure to potential P-pop artists or songs are when they randomly pop up on the Twitters or the TikTok or a YouTube recommendation.
