Four passionate performances from four wonderful vocalists; Dami Im, Beverly Caimen, Taeho and Leo.
“Pray” by Dami Im
The amazing Dami Im has released her first all-original album since Heart Beats in 2014. Yes! You read that right! My Reality is her first album in seven years to contain all original songs. And it also signals the beginning of the next chapter in her career as she has left her previous label and signed with ABC Music. Now, Dami has much more freedom and control of her music and the album is a wonderful showcase for her. In addition to some previously released original songs, including “Marching On” (one of my favorite songs of 2020), Dami presents meaningful tracks that she says is a more “authentic” representation of her as an artist.
“Pray” is the lead track from the album and it is a breathtaking song about taking a moment from your hectic everyday. Dami’s vocals soar with the positive and encouraging lyrics. And accompanied by a wonderful choir, it is truly a stunning track.
Dami is such an amazing talent and it is very exciting to see her be able to be freer with her music.
“My Love, Goodbye…” by Beverly
Beverly Caimen releases her newest song “My Love, Goodbye…” and after one listen, there’s no question about her talent. The Filipina singer who has found great success in Japan is always amazing with every song. And this stunning ballad is another example of that. Beverly delivers the bittersweet emotions of the song’s lyrics with her powerful voice that she is able to effortlessly control.
“Tell Me” by Tae Ho
IMFACT’s Taeho is back with his second solo release and “Tell Me” is an amazing track. The smooth Motown R&B vibes are a pleasant surprise. Composed by Taeho, his vocals glide across the soulful track. A real treat from the talented artist.
“I’m Still Here” by Leo
After recently completing his military service, VIXX’s Leo releases his first single “I’m Still Here.” Leo’s always excellent vocals bring to life this emotional pop ballad that is both a love letter to his fans and a bittersweet track about breaking up. Always great to get new music from him.
