"Recap:" The Amazing Race Philippines 2, Episode 47 (Leg 8, Day 5) – "Warning: This area is taken by zombies. Avoid getting bit."

Third straight day without an episode upload.

And this was another episode I was really looking forward to. One of the most exciting spoilers while the Race was running was that there would be some kind of zombie Pit Stop/Route Marker/task in Iloilo.

And here it is with no way for many people to watch it. Sorry to everyone who’s messaged me asking for a link. I’d love to give you a link to the episode (preferably an official TV5 upload of the episode of course), but they just don’t exist.

It’s very sad especially since this is the last week and a half of the season.

  1. THIS ZOMBIE TASK SUCKS!!! Does it paid tribute or homage to Pinoy or International zombie films, televisions, video games, and etc. in this site? It would be great if it paid tribute and homage to zombie films, and they should’ve visit other countries (just like TAR Canada) that paid homage to Zombie films and video games like: Japan: Resident Evil (They have a Resident Evil theme park in Universal Studios Japan), House of The Dead; USA: The Walking Dead (maybe a filming site). Or they should find a Zombie theme park in the Philippines.
The reason why I’m writing this is because I’m an TAR critic. “The Amazing Race” is not just about challenges it’s about cultures and paid homage or tribute to (just what Wikipedia’s said: “These challenges are related in some manner to the country wherein they are located or its culture”, don’t believe me look at Wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Amazing_Race).

    1. I think it’s okay to have that task on TARPH. Not everything needs to be cultural. And they did other things in Iloilo. =)
I never saw this episode though since no one ever posted it online. =(

  2. This give me an idea from the zombie task for my “The Amazing Race: It’s More Fun In The Philippines” concept. Instead of calling it zombies for the task, it will be called “aswang” part of Philippine mythology (aswangs are like Philippine zombies), it could either be a Roadblock or a Fast Forward task; and the same location in Iloilo (Old Iloilo Rehabilitation Center).
