 Today, I have 5 episodes in which there were perfect opportunities to further the CONNER/KIRA “relationship,” but the writers didn’t take that chance. So really, these are missed opportunities to capitalize on the obvious natural chemistry between James Napier and Emma Lahana  1. DISAPPEARING ACT While seeing Conner and Ethan dancing together was hilarious, how sweet would it have been to have Conner and Kira show Ethan how its done. Then of course we have the two look into each others eyes and have everyone else around them say “Finally…” since they know something’s going on between them, but then Conner and Kira break away from each other, pretending they don’t like each other and yeah… you get the picture. 2. A STAR IS TORN Well, Conner was the only one who came out and told Kira that the music video for “Patiently” was not her. He cares for her in the sense that he knows Kira should be who she really is and not conform to some image. Before that, Kira was trying to call people after they dressed her in some wacky clothes and she calls Conner first. Well Conner could’ve given Kira some advice on what she should and shouldn’t do, stuff like that. 3. TRUTH & CONSEQUENCES After that bitch Trent tells Kira that he is the White Ranger, Kira could’ve cried on Conner’s shoulder and then he, being so enraged that someone hurt Kira, would’ve gone and kicked his ass. Nice bonding opportunity for KirCo. 4. LOST & FOUND IN TRANSLATION Kinda wierd in this ep because Conner and Kira walked into a seemingly closed Hayley’s Cyberspace, but they were both very surprised when they find Ethan there using the new satellite dish. And of course, Conner seemed really pissed the rest of the episode, so maybe KirCo wanted to be alone that night? Ethan could’ve cracked a joke or something.5. DIVA IN DISTRESS Conner has a crush on Kylie Styles, a huge pop singer who was once Kira’s best friend. There was a moment in front of the escalators when Conner says something like “She’s so… and you’re so…” reffering to how Kira and Kylie were completely different. Of course Kira got a little mad. But at the end of the episode, we could’ve seen Conner go up to Kira after the song and tell her how he thinks she is a great person, great voice, and how he really likes her more than he does Kylie… or something like that. BEST KIRCO MOMENT THAT DID HAPPEN: DAY OF THE DINO (PART 1) Kira is singing the chorus to “Freak You Out” Conner: “Babe, could you keep it down… trying to stay focused here.” Kira: (to Conner) “Did you just call me ‘babe’?” (to Ethan) “Did he just call me ‘babe’?” Kira walks up to Conner Conner: (innocently to Kira) “What? Just chill out why don’t ya?” Kira: “Listen, my name is Kira… maybe you should write it on your hand or something, so you can remember.” Conner looks hurt That was the moment when I knew James and Emma had perfect chemistry and Conner and Kira were definitely going to have something special. And also, Tommy, Hayley, Ethan, and even Trent can see there is something “there” between Conner & Kira but they never say anything about it. It could’ve been one of those things where everyone but the two people knows theres something there. Oh well… maybe by next year’s team up.
