Haruka, Shinichi and Tsuyoshi are at Donbura watching the finale of Kamen Rider Revice with Master Kaito.
Kaito is touched by Revice‘s parting message of it never being too late to follow your dreams. He believes Revice had a great finale and has been inspired to wrap Donbrothers up as well.
The trio are surprised since they thought they’d be on the air a bit longer. But Kaito points out that there might not even be a clear endgame when greed will exist in humans long after the season is over. So they might as well end it all today.
And to celebrate the finale, they need to decide the team’s MVP.
To do that, each of the Donbros recap their time as Donbros so far. Haruka is up first and talks about having to juggle being a high school and a mangaka with her responsibilities as Oni Sister. She hopes to be able to create a manga that can reach Noto Sonoza on an emotional level.
Shinichi is next and discusses how he initially lived his life in accordance with wabi-sabi. But has now embraced his skills and capabilities as a hero.
Tsuyoshi says all he needs is Miho by his side and he can face anything, whether in the workplace or as a Donbro.
It is Inu Brother’s turn to enumerate his accomplishments. But they still have no idea who or where he is. On the other side of town, Sononi decides to speak on behalf of Tsubasa, recounting his tragic love story as well as the strange circumstances relating to Natsumi being a Juto. Sononi encourages Tsubasa to continue running while he can.
Back at Donbura, the trio turns to Tarou’s qualifications. Shinichi says the best overall isn’t necessarily always the MVP even if they acknowledge he has the best resume.
Sonoi suddenly appears, enjoying some coffee to point out that Tarou isn’t the only one with a Don Clan connection. He takes up Jirou’s list of qualifications, matching up well with Tarou. But Tarou is still his sole rival and they will settle the score very soon.
Kaito pops in to open the envelope revealing the MVP and the winner is… him.
Kaito says he has been fighting longer than anyone and includes his time as Zenkaiser. To celebrate his win, Kaito gives the trio a special gift. Haruka, Shinichi and Tsuyoshi are excited to open it, but it’s just Kaito’s second photobook.
Haruka, Shinichi and Tsuyoshi quickly leave.
Sonoza is disappointed that nothing actually happened this episode. But Sonoi says next time will be different as it will be the decisive duel between him and Tarou.
Episode Thoughts
Yeah, okay. That definitely did not even meet my low expectations. Lol
I was expecting a clip show, but I was at least hoping for some fun moments. But the scene of all the Donbros at Donbura wasn’t even in the actual episode.
WTF. This was just a regular, old-style clip show. Nothing new to add at all.
Unless it was the implication that this Kaito we have on Donbrothers is the same Kaito from Zenkaiger. I thought this was supposed to be an AU version? I dunno.
I can’t believe Revice‘s clip show was even better than this! lol
Ugh. No question this is my least favorite episode of the season.
I don’t remember and I don’t really care enough to actually check (lol), but I think Toei likes to pair finales (especially Kamen Rider finales) with a recap/clip show of Sentai? I guess to try and catch some of the extra viewers that might tune in to the finale? I’m not sure. But whatever.
I love the Donbros, but this episode was not what I was hoping for after Revice‘s flat finale. Let’s just pretend it never happened. Lol

Haha, yeah, I thought they were going to face off in the cafe or something. Like play a game. Oh well.
Right?! I thought so too.
Definitely a skip. 😂
Felt like a Power Rangers clip show. And that’s not a good thing LOL
Why did they go through the trouble of filming them in the cafe together, but actually not do anything with them? They didn’t even film/record new voice overs for Tsubasa, Tarou and Jirou? 🤔
That’s a good point! I really feel like the actors are too busy to fit the show into their schedule lol
