The top three teams are shocked to learn the Penultimate Leg was a Non-Elimination. But they have no time to fret over the shocking twist as the Final Leg begins as soon as they touch down in General Santos City. Teams are mindful of not breaking any traffic laws and staying safe as they drive to the City Fish Port Complex where they arrive within minutes of each other.
Automatic Rewinded-Troy & KC use their muscle to load their 12 tunas faster than the other teams and maintain that lead all the way to the kulintang assembly task in Plaza Heneral Santos.
They fall to last place as they must assemble a 2nd kulintang to fulfill their Non-Elimination penalty Rewind.
Though Marco & Michele are 3rd to finish assembling their kulintang, Michele is the first to complete the performance Road Block and they move into first place on their way to Dole Plantation.
Marco & Michele lose their lead at the first Double Road Block when Jervi & Luke move ahead on the way to the Final Task. Gee & Archie, meanwhile, fall behind when they get lost driving to the Dole Plantation, giving Troy & KC a big chance to catch up.
All teams begin the Final Task within 15 minutes of each other. But all teams struggle to figure out first what they need to do and then second, how to properly communicate with each other.
Marco & Michele are the first to take the risk and decide to reconvene and they are able to finally figure out what they need to do. After they are able to complete the scales, they waited out their 30-minute penalty before performing the Final Final Task.
The other teams, seeing Marco & Michele taking the penalty, also decide to follow suit. Jervi & Luke do so one hour and 15 minutes after they first began and only ten minutes after the siblings. Gee & Archie immediately do the same. Troy & KC decide to use their second Interchange after 55 minutes have elapsed and switch tasks. But they still struggle and end up taking a penalty 35 minutes later.
Marco & Michele’s decision to reconvene and take the penalty would end up being the move that wins them the Race as they cross the Finish Line first.
