Teams fly from Muscat to Rome on one of two flights, but they are all equalized on the train to Florence.
At the Duel Duel, Carmina & Cassy struggle by losing three consecutive face offs. Two of which by only one point.
Having been on the second of the two flights, Jervi & Luke, Gee & Archie and Troy & KC decided to form a temporary alliance to keep themselves all in the Race. They agree to U-Turn teams if any one of them fall behind. And that’s exactly what they did by U-Turning Janice & Inah and Carmina & Cassy.
However, both teams are able to close the gap at the Detour when the other teams struggle. All non-U-Turned teams switch Detours at least once, delaying each one of them by at least an hour.
Teams maintain their positions through the truffle hunting task. And it wouldn’t be until the Road Block when teams once again would struggle to get a handle on the task.
In the closest finish of the Race so far, all teams are able to finish within a span of 40 minutes. Though they made up a lot of time since the U-Turn, it would be those crucial minutes that end up being the difference for last place and eliminated team Carmina & Cassy. BFFs Janice & Inah vow revenge on the alliance that U-Turned them.
