Woz mistakenly leaks Sougo using the powers of Grand Zi-O and that Yuto Sakurai, along with Deneb, plan to stop Sougo from using those powers to destroy the world.
Woz rewinds back in time to Geiz and Tsukuyomi first encountering the DenLiner and Momotaros, Urataros, Kintaros and Ryutaros stumbling out hoping for some help.
Geiz and Tsukuyomi bring them home as they have come looking for Uncle Junichiro who they’ve learned is the greatest repairman in this era. They hope he can fix their clock-like train.
Heure and Ora meet to discuss Sougo just about finished collecting all the Watches.
At a cemetery, Takuya Endo is upset with Yukihiro Osumi visiting a “neechan’s” grave, blaming him for her death.
Yukihiro walks away. But Ora pops in and forces the Den-O Watch into Takuya. She orders him to steal the DenLiner. As Ora and Takuya leave, an Imagin flies into Yukihiro.
At the DenLiner, Uncle Junichiro says he can surely fix it. But Another Den-O begins attacking the train. Geiz arrives and henshins, immediately taking on Another Den-O. Sougo and Woz hurry out to help.
Sougo decides to go Trinity, but before they can attack Another Den-O, Yuto and Deneb appear.
Sougo mistakenly thinks Yuto is Kyousuke Kiriya. Yuto henshins to Kamen Rider Zeronos and takes on Trinity. But when Another Den-O tries running toward the train, Yuto delivers an attack that forces Takuya to dehenshin.
Ora whisks Takuya away.
Back at the shop, Deneb introduces himself and Yuto and offers them some Deneb Candy so they can work well together.
Yuto says he’s seen the future and it includes Sougo becoming Oma Zi-O and destroying the world. Geiz says that won’t happen because he’ll be able to stop him before then
Yuto adds that in the future, Sougo will obtain an unbeatable power that makes him the King of Time and will create the most terrible future. Sougo says he would never and instead become the kindest king.
Yuto doesn’t believe him and vows to defeat him. He leaves. Deneb apologizes and follows him out.
Just then, Momotaros possesses Geiz and says since the train repairs are going well, he can help them defeat Another Den-O.
Ora recharges the Den-O Watch and Takuya henshins. Still at the cemetery, the Mole Imagin that entered Yukihiro appears and offers a contract with him. Yukuhiro asks the Imagin to help Takuya.
Sougo asks Woz if it’s true that he will acquire a grand power once all the Watches are collected. Woz says Sougo will be invincible when that happens. Sougo asks if that power will be able to defeat Oma Zi-O. Woz says yes.
Momotaros and Tsukuyomi find Another Den-O. Momotaros prepares to henshin…
…but he needs Tsukuyomi to explain how to. She helps him and henshins to Geiz.
Momotaros battles Another Den-O. But the Mole Imagin appears and it’s now a three-way battle.
Sougo and Woz arrive. Sougo prepares to henshin, but Yuto and Deneb arrive as well.
Sougo reaffirms that he will become a kind king. He henshins to Trinity and is surprised to see Momotaros in the spot with a sleeping Geiz. Momotaros takes control of the body and battles Yuki and Deneb. Yuki decides to uphenshin to Vega Form.
Momotaros battles the Mole Imagin while Yuki and Momotaros do the same. Yukihira arrives and tries to get Yuki to stop, but it doesn’t work.
Sougo, Woz and Momotaros use a finisher at Deneb-powered Zerenos. But this just allows Another Den-O to enter the DenLiner and hijack it as ordered.
The Mole Imagin says he’s granted Yukihira’s wish even if Yuto made a decision himself. The Imagine cuts open Yukihira’s body and inserts himself inside.
Woz says they need the Den-O Watch. But Momotaros speaks up and says he has the Den-O Watch with him right now. He tosses it to Sougo and everything starts glowing, including the Watches at home. Sougo realizes this is the final power-up.
So I completely forgot Geiz has had the Drive Watch all this time. Especially since the show keeps saying Sougo still needs to collect it. And in trying to figure out how in the world the Grand Zi-O Watch appeared without the Drive watch, I just saw that the Zi-O movie will be the Drive arc.
Yes, I’m confused lol
Of course, even though Geiz had the Ghost Watch, we still got the Ghost arc which I still think is one of the best tribute arcs this season. (Though I still absolutely hate Ghost the season, but not in a “I hate Saban Brands Era Power Rangers” kind of way lol)
So this isn’t my first time meeting Momotaros or Den-O, but I still am not too familiar with Den–O as a series. I definitely think my familiarity with some parts of Den-O helped me follow along much better than the last few weeks.
Having Momotaros possess Geiz was fun. it definitely gave Gaku Oshida some fun stuff to play around with. And it looks like Keisuke Watanabe gets that fun next week (or next episode, since no episode on Sunday).
I also noticed that Den-O being the last official tribute arc (other than Drive) fits very well. This episode had both body sharing power ups. And then of course, Den-O involves time travel as well. So it’s the perfect last tribute. Lots of fun parallels.
It’s also great fun to see Yuichi Nakamura back again. Of course, many actors have played multiple roles on Kamen Rider and Super Sentai before. So it’s always fun when they return and their multiple characters somehow get mentioned or get a nod to in-series. hehe
Overall, an enjoyable and fun episode. It would appear that starting with the next episode, the story will really start diving into the final arc for the season. I actually really have high expectations for it.
