The Ryusoulgers are watching a breaking news report about Japanese Prime Minister Karino Mioko being hospitalized for unknown reasons. Papa Naohisa says she’s really pretty and was formerly a fortune teller. Melt says he read a tabloid article about PM Karino going out with an older man.
Ui calls everyone’s attention to an online post showing photos of a woman who appears to be the prime minister in different eras and different countries around the world. The rumors are the prime minister is actually immortal. Papa Naohisa wishes he could be immortal.
At the hospital, Towa and Bamba meet the prime minister in her room. Bamba says she is a former member of the Ryusoul tribe.
PM Karino gets up from bed and hugs Bamba-chan. Towa is confused.
On the other side of town, Kureon brings Waizuru to their new hideout in an underground parking garage. But Waizuru looks for a funicular and a disco ball for dancing. Just then, a Minosaur appears and zaps Kureon which forces him to say what he is really thinking out loud.
Back at the hospital, PM Karino explains she left the village 300 years ago and started traveling the world. When she returned to Japan, she began fortune telling and began advising a politician who encouraged her to enter politics.
PM Karino says she left the village because she wanted a normal life. But now she’s had 300 years of a normal life and it’s gotten boring. She acknowledges maybe the grass really is greener on the other side and you just want what you don’t have.
Bamba asks what she wants from them. She mentions how she wasn’t chosen to become a Ryusoulger and admits the Minosaur was born from her and asks them to defeat it only after it has become complete and embiggened.
Towa tries to point out the obvious, but PM Karino beats him to it and says it’s fine if she dies. She offers to tell them about their Master if they do as she asks.
Towa and Bamba leave. Bamba says they’ll just have to continue as they normally have in defeating a Minosaur.
Just then, the Minosaur attacks a nearby couple who begin to be brutally honest with each other.
Towa can’t help but think about PM Karino and hesitates a little before he and Bamba morph. They battle the Minosaur, but it can predict their attacks. Towa tells Bamba they have to wait for the Minosaur to be complete. The further hesitation allows the Minosaur to attack and force them to demorph.
The Minosaur leaves. Bamba tells Towa to stop with the hesitation and that they can find out about their Master after they defeat the Minosaur.
Back at the hospital, PM Karino is happy to see her life energy continuing to fly away. Just then, she sense someone else is in the room. And that someone ends up being Gaisorg who offers to kill her if she wants.
PM Karino says she and Gaisorg are the same, wandering around with no place to go. She says he probably doesn’t remember his days as a hero and that he’ll probably birth a Minosaur too.
PM Karino visits an older man who is also in the hospital and dying. She gives him some flowers and apologizes she could not grow old with him.
After telling the others about the prime minister, Bamba finds PM Karino with the man and now understands the Minosaur was birthed from the pain of not being able to grow old with a loved one.
Downtown, the Minosaur has just leveled an entire skyscraper and killed everyone inside. Koh, Melt, Asuna and Towa arrive and morph. They are unable to counter the Minosaur’s power.
Asuna gets hit with the Minosaur’s truth beam and she begins to criticize Melt. Melt takes it very personally.
Back at the hospital, PM Karino explains to Bamba her feeling of being different. But now she has decided she can die with the person she loves for once. Bamba says she can’t just run away from her problems by dying. He says it’s absurd for her as a prime minister who should be trying to protect the country instead of allowing the Minosaur to grow and murder everyone.
She says it doesn’t matter if she’s prime minister or not. But Bamba reminds her she was born into the Ryusoul tribe and she must play the game with the cards that’ve been dealt to her. And suicide is never the answer.
Meanwhile, Koh summons Tyramigo and DimeVolcano, They get shot with the Minosaur’s beam and they both become critical of each other. Tyramigo says DimeVolcano’s riddles are horrible. DimeVolcano says he really likes Tyramigo though.
DimeVolcano says Tyramigo can answer his questions any way he likes. He only asks questions and riddles because he likes to talk with others. Tyramigo admits that he actually doesn’t hate DimeVolcano at all. DimeVolcano cries tears of joy.
Towa points out it’s nice to be honest with your true feelings once in a while.
Koh has the two Kishiryu combine into KishiryuOh DimeVolcano.
Bamba arrives and tells them the Minosaur is afraid of its bandages catching fire. Asuna uses MawariSoul and whips up a gas tank to help Koh burn the Minosaur. Asuna’s luck kicks in and it allows them to attack without the Minosaur predicting it.
Koh uses MeraMeraSoul and delivers a finisher at the Minosaur.
Bamba realizes the Minosaur has been trying to say “I wanna die.”
PM Karino watches as her life energy returns to her. She cries as she look as her loved one and remembers Bamba telling her not to run away by dying. She removes her necklace and looks at it before she disappears from the room.
Towa and Bamba hurry to the hospital, but they’re too late. PM Karino has escaped and Japan no longer has a prime minister.
Back home, Melt and Asuna seem to still be sulking about what happened between them earlier. Koh tries to cheer them up and get them to make up. But Asuna has something to say. She tells Melt how grateful she is for him being able to come up with plans to defeat the Minosaurs. She adds that there are just some things that are too embarrassing to say out loud.
The news of the prime minister’s disappearance spreads across Japan.
Towa is on a rooftop ready to find PM Karino. But Bamba stops him and says they’ve been played all along.
Bamba says their Master abandoned them, but that he must have had a reason. They wonder if they’ll ever be able to see their Master again.
Wow! That was a very fascinating episode. Obviously, this was another episode focused on a character wanting to die. But not only that, they essentially touched on the issue of assisted suicide and euthanasia, didn’t they? Though she wasn’t necessarily physically ill. But still, she was certainly looking for Towa and Bamba to help her die with her loved one.
It really has been fascinating to watch Ryusoulger develop. They’ve been a little bit all over the place with some nice highs and some VERY low lows. But it appears they’re getting to a good rhythm now. I liked this episode for many reasons.
First, they tackled the suicide aspect (is this now officially a running theme for this season?) maybe the best so far of their attempts this season. You can understand where PM Karino is coming from when she expresses how hard it is for her to live all these years and watch her loved ones die. It’s not a new concept when it comes to immortal characters and the like. But it is used well here. The way it unfolded in the beginning with the gang at Chez Tatsui reading the news reports and the viral posts about the prime minister being immortal and dating an old man, you didn’t really know where everything was going after that. But it eventually made perfect sense.
Second, this was a particularly strong psuedo-Bamba focus. This might be the best episode for his character so far. He really shined this episode, most especially in his conversation with PM Karino. He was strong and decisive, but also compassionate.
And next, it’s the overall message the episode seemed to convey. As Bamba basically explained, even if things get hard, you shouldn’t run away from those problems by just dying. Essentially, killing yourself is not a solution to hardship you might be feeling now.
In conjunction with that, the episode was also trying to convey that you should be open and honest. And letting others know how you really feel is a very good thing. It can relieve and avoid conflict and it can help you with your personal mental health as well. Being comfortable with other people and knowing you can say what you truly feel is a good thing.
Melt was hurt by Asuna’s telling him how she really felt. But in the end, they both realize it’s necessary to be truthful with one another. And also it isn’t always easy to do.
Tyramigo and DimeVolcano telling each other their true feelings was very fun and cute. And it was a good balance to the rest of the episode.
But back to PM Karino, she may not have gone through with wanting to kill herself. But she still ran away so I will assume this is definitely not a closed case just yet. She’s just thrown Japan in chaos, of course. lol
I totally forgot the previews for this episode and was surprised she was a member of the Ryusoul tribe. So very interesting for her and Bamba to know each other. But how does she know Gaisorg? And where is going now that she’s run away from her responsibilities. I think we’ll be seeing more of her.
Elsewhere, I always think it’s crazy when the MOTW just randomly levels buildings. Like, how many people must have logically died in those buildings?! So insane to point at those details in this KIDS show! lol
Anyway, overall I really enjoyed this episode. A really well written and well executed episode that hit all the right notes. Definitely a first for Ryusoulger. And I hope it continues.

For me, it was very important episode. Just like Melt, I too take much things personally and that makes me cry. But later, I can learn even more after all! And I’m glad Tyramigo and DimeVolcano reconciled🙂I was touched when I saw PM Karino with her dying love one and earlier, how she told something clever to Gaisorg🙂
And the most intriguing thing, who can be Towa and Bamba’s Master?🤔
Great episode. Lots of great developments.
