While Ikki and Vice do what they can to fight off the rampaging Demons across the city, Papa Ushijima broadcasts to the country imploring its citizens to reject Ararat and join up with Weekend instead to ensure the planet’s peace and stability. More and more people are heeding Papa Ushijima’s warning and gathering at Weekend evacuation shelters.
Considering my dislike for Saber and my increasing disappointment with Revice, I went into Kamen Rider: Beyond Generations (仮面ライダー ビヨンド・ジェネレーションズ) with apprehension. I had no idea what to expect and my expectations were definitely low. But perhaps that’s partly why I’ve come out of the film actually liking and enjoying it. Really enjoying it, actually. And much to my surprise, even succumbing to a huge MaGMCM at the end of it.
“Tadaima!” Hiromi says as he stops Daiji from punching his older brother in the face. Getting up to leave, Daiji says Hiromi is too late.
In a church, Vice is crying as the priest tells groom Ikki he may kiss the bride. Ikki lifts the bride’s vail, calls her beautiful and leans in. But Vice wants to explain how we got to this moment in the first place.
Ikki, Vice and Sakura work overtime trying to deal with demons rampaging around the city. Director Akaishi, who everyone has just learned is still alive, pushes the narrative that Gifu actually saved his life and comes in peace. Because of this, he will no longer order the Kamen Riders to defeat him as the peace of the world rests on not provoking their new benevolent overlord.
Buu-san tells Yukimi that Genta has broken into Noah and is uncontrollably rampaging. Yukimi asks him to take her there as she believes she is the only one who can stop him.
Fenix has instituted a Vistamp mandate for all Japanese citizens in order to remove their demons from their bodies. Though there are some who gladly get Stamped, there’s more people who are skeptical of it and have decided against it.
Daiji is bleeding out from the neck as demonAkemi is about to deliver the finishing blow. Ikki runs over to try and help his brother, but demonAkemi just swats him away. That forces Ikki and Vice to dehenshin. Vail comes to beat up Ikki and Vice some more.
A sleeping Papa Igarashi continues to be restless as he lays on Mama Igarashi’s lap. Buu-san wonders if Papa Igarashi is starting to remember the painful memories of the past. Mama Igarashi says she hopes not, but she knows it is only a matter of time.
Daiji is perfectly fine, physically, after Director Akaishi savaged his body last episode. But he is absolutely livid at the fact that Director Akaishi may be using Gifu’s power. When George mentions Doctor Akemi, Daiji goes running home.
