The Final Four battle in the Final Quest to determine who has the most peak human phyisque.
The Final 20 battle in the Penultimate Quest to determine which four perfect physical specimens will battle in the finals.
First off, I’ll say that last season’s Quest 3 was much more exciting. The ship-moving challenge I think was one of the highlights last year as it really best exemplified the huge scale of Physical: 100.
So this episode was a bit predictable once again. I think any reasonable fan of the show could foresee which team would win in each of these remaining match-ups. Obviously, Team Hong Beom Seok was going to win and continue his storyline this season.
Okay. So here we go with the team competitions on Physical: 100. And I’ll just say right off the bat, last season’s Quest 2 was much better than whatever this mess was.
Last season, one of my hopes for any future season was to shift the team Quests to the beginning of the competition. That way, we would be able to meet more of the contestants and the competition would be a bit more balanced and unpredictable. The one-on-ones for the very first elimination send off half of the contestants. And due to that, we lose some very interesting potential characters.
Netflix’s breakout Korean reality-competition program Physical: 100 (피지컬: 100) is back for its 2nd season. And this first episode easily showed why it had such a huge impact last year.
