A spot in the Final Four is on the line as teams continue to Race through Colombia. Teams get a taste of local culture, but some struggle to get their heads in the game, leading to an emotional elimination.
Teams begin the Leg at 7:30am and head for a refreshing dip in the mud at El Totumo. They then quickly wash the mud off with a challenging task in the water helping local fishermen.
Taxi troubles shuffle the teams as Miriam & Ardy arrive at the café in first. But it is Elma & Jojo who match their coffee the fastest with Ehra & Michelle once again trailing in last place.
A dancing task plays to the strengths of the idols as MM & MJ and Christian & Sam make up lots of time in San Basilio de Palenque. Elma & Jojo fall to last place as teams head to the Detour in Getsemani.
Christian & Sam arrive at Getsemani in first and initially choose the Palenqueras side of the Detour as does MM & MJ and Ehra & Michelle. Miriam & Ardy also choose that side of the Detour and Miriam’s beauty queen days come in handy as she is able to help herself and Ardy properly balance the fruit on their heads.
Meanwhile, the other three Palenqueras teams struggle mightily and decide to switch over to the Carruaje side which Elma & Jojo chose initially.
Having chosen the right Detours for themselves, Miriam & Ardy and Elma & Jojo are able to finish the Leg as Teams 1 and 2, respectively. Ehra & Michelle, who had switched first, manages to move up to 3rd.
It is now down to the idols. But it is MM & MJ who just edge Christian & Sam, who switched last, to claim 4th at the Pit Stop.
Christian & Sam decide not to give up and they run all the way from Getsemani to the Pit Stop, but they are unfortunately last and eliminated.
