A closely-fought Leg leads to the closest, surprising and most edge of your seat Race to the Mat yet!

The Leg started out early as teams drove from Odense to Billund. Teams arrive at the Lego Factory within 30 minutes of each other and the Road Block helped to shuffle the teams right at the start of the Leg.

The teacup ride at Legoland was far from fun for most teams as they all struggled to quickly put together their Lego Race cluebox. Yassi & Issa move into the lead with Taneo & Alas and Wilma & Asiana close behind. Herlene & Alex also mange to make up some time as well while the other teams experience some navigation troubles on the way to Aarhus.

At the Leg’s 2nd Road Block, all teams struggled with finding the dishes while also memorizing the lay out of the table. Wilma & Asiana move to the head of the pack with Taneo & Alas close behind. #TeamAlamat would move into the lead after the University Regatta while Herlene & Alex lose ground by having to complete four attempts before winning a boat race.

The Detour looked easy on paper, but both detail-oriented tasks proved challenging for the teams.

Taneo & Alas figured out the Detour first, but Wilma & Asiana are able to just sneak past them to claim their first Leg win. Yassi & Issa are given bad directions and end up finishing 5th after having led most of the day.

The Race to avoid elimination came down to three teams. Aljur & Vin, Herlene & Alex and Kaye & Paul Jake struggle with the smorrebrod. Kaye & Paul Jake were sure they were not in last place as they had left the boat race in 2nd. But Herlene & Alex accidentally let slip that they were all fighting to avoid last place.

Kaye & Paul Jake are confident they can finish the Detour before the other two teams. But they increasingly become worried and debate using their Fast Forward Fold. As soon as they see both Aljur & Vin and Herlene & Alex get the thumbs up for their sandwiches, Kaye & Paul Jake take the plunge and request the Pit Stop clue using their Fast Forward Fold.

It would now be a Race to the Pit Stop at The Infinite Bridge. Aljur & Vin manage to arrive first of the three teams, finishing as Team #6. But it is a footrace for Kaye & Paul Jake and Herlene & Alex. Both teams arrive by the water at the same time. But each team takes a different side of the bridge to get to the Mat in the middle. And it ends up being Kaye & Paul Jake who step on that Mat as Team #7. Herlene & Alex step on the Mat just 30 seconds later and are unfortunately eliminated.
