The Amazing Race Philippines: DryedMangoez Edition Season 22 Race Tracker – Leg 4

Leg 4
Old Fortress of Corfu (Corfu)
Spainada Square (Corfu)
Kaiser’s Bridge (Corfu)
Achilleion Palace (Corfu)
The Governor (Agios Mathaios)
Corfu Old Town (Corfu)
Rovinia Beach (Corfu)

Teams Raced through the beautiful island of Corfu. But it’s hard to enjoy the view when you get yourself lost. Self-driving and a tricky Detour tripped up teams, shook up the placements and ultimately helped to decide this Leg’s elimination.

The unexpected Intersection Road Block proved to be a conflict-less affair. But some pairs did work faster than others. Aljur & Vin were a bit annoyed when Hidilyn & Julius chose Wilma & Asiana, who had left the Pit Start in the 2nd group, as their Intersection partners instead of them.

The drive to the Route Marker at Kaiser’s Bridge was just the first frustrating moment for some teams as finding the location was difficult. All teams get a bit lost on the way there, with some going completely off track, confusing it with other locations in the area with the same name.

Taneo & Alas end up being the first team to spot the cluebox at the end of the bridge pier. Yassi & Issa and Wilma & Asiana end up driving past at just the right time and see #TeamAlamat running to clue. The same happens when Hidilyn & Julius see Jack & Pat and Herlene & Alex running back to their cars after retrieving their clues.

Teams would maintain their placements through to the Detour when one of the tasks proved too difficult for some. Yassi & Issa, who had arrived 2nd at the Detour, end up departing 5th after switching from the Table side of the Detour to the Farm side. Hidilyn & Julius and Aljur & Vin also switch. Lara & Marco fall behind when they belatedly switch to the Farm Detour even though they arrived before BJ & Mike.

In Corfu Old Town, Jack & Pat and Hidilyn & Julius have a bit more luck in their bandmate search than other teams, moving them up a spot each.

But Taneo & Alas would maintain their lead all the way to the Mat for their 2nd Leg win in four Legs.

Alliance-mates Jack & Pat and Herlene & Alex move into the Top 5 for the first time this Race. While Aljur & Vin fall out of the Top 2 for the first time. Unfortunately for Lara & Marco, they are unable to make up for their earlier lost time and are eliminated.
