Teams clocked in their longest hours on the road so far this Race and that made all the difference this Leg.

The Detour at the Pit Start in the pre-dawn hours immediately raised the stress levels high as three teams decided to switch from the wine balancing Detour to the bougatsa Detour which proved to be faster and easier.

Taneo & Alas maintained their lead through to the Ancient Theatre of Larissa. However, #TeamAlamat didn’t have the luck needed to quickly finish the needle in a haystack task. Having arrived first at the Route Marker, they ended up leaving 6th.

Meanwhile, other teams spent as much as half an hour to 45 minutes smashing plates looking for the Race flag. Many of whom missing flags that had already been revealed from their smashed plates.

The challenges of self-driving reared its ugly head once again. This time for Lara & Marco, BJ & Mike and Sheena & Jeron on their way to Meteora, putting them almost two hours behind the leading group.

Aljur & Vin moved into the lead upon arrival at the Road Block which proved more difficult than it looked. A few small pieces and a near-specific order of putting the pieces together to enable the pot to stand on its own tripped up all of the teams.

Hidilyn managed to piece the pot back together the fastest and she and Julius claim their first Leg win. #TeamAbrenica had to settle for a 3rd consecutive runner-up finish.

Initially arriving at the Road Block in 8th, Kaye was able to quickly finish the task and she and Paul & Jake move up a few spots to check-in as Team #4.

Yassi & Issa had left the Road Block in 5th, but Taneo & Alas are able to pass them on the way to the Pit Stop.

Jack & Pat and Herlene & Alex, who have officially formed an alliance, stuck together through the entire Leg and would finish together in 7th and 8th.

The battle to avoid elimination came down to three teams. Lara made quick work of the Road Block, but BJ & Mike would end up passing them on the way to the Mat. The dating couple would just edge the married parents for 9th place. That left Sheena & Jeron in last and eliminated, just eight minutes behind.
