CBS Reveals Teams for The Amazing Race 17 Plus a First Leg Twist!
CBS officially revealed the 11 teams competing in the upcoming 17th season of the seven-time Emmy winning The Amazing Race, which premieres Sunday, September 26 with a 90-minute premiere at 8pm.
The new batch of teams include YouTube celebrities Kevin Wu (kevjumba) and father Michael, home shopping hosts, college singers, a father and daughter and the usual dating couples.
CBS’ Press Release notes this season sees the first visits to Bangladesh, Ghana and the Arctic Circle as well as a first leg twist in which the 1st place team is awarded a surprise game changing advantage.
