Teams start the 6th Leg of the Race needing to deliver two sacks of hay to a storage area on the roof of a stable. They will then travel by horse drawn carriage into town, feed their horses an apple and pick up a brand new Ford Fiesta.

Adam & Bethany pass Kym & Alli to the hay. Both teams are confident in their strengths. Tim and Te Jay want to use strategy if their strength is not enough against the professional wrestlers, professional surfers and professional dentists who bodybuild. It is 9:48pm and Kym & Alli open the first clue telling teams to fly to Marrakech, Morocco.

Shelley & Nici had a long talk last night and are fine now. All teams are on the same flight and while waiting at the airport, Misti & Jim can feel the other teams’ annoyance at them being safe and still having The Save.

Once teams arrive in Marrakech, they must make their way to Jemaa el-Fnaa where they must find the next clue in front of the food cart garage. Continue reading

After teams spend the night in tents on the beach, it’s time for the 4th Leg. Misti & Jim open the clue telling teams to fly to Copenhagen, Denmark. But first, teams must take a 13 hour ferry back to Aberdeen. And that ferry leaves at 5pm which means all teams will catch up.

But in the meantime, with no travel agency nearby, Misti & Jim head to the library to use the internet to find flights and they manage to book tickets for a flight arriving at 4pm next day in Copenhagen.

Keith & Whitney and Adam & Bethany ask about a travel agency too while buying ferry tickets, but the agent doesn’t tell them about internet at the library. Continue reading

The Amazing Race US Finally Returns to the Philippines!

Well not really. Not yet, at least. But I was in the Amazing Race wishlist mood today and I dug up my ideas for locations and tasks for what would be the first two Legs of a TARUS season. Definitely a wishlist/dream route/fantasy-kind of thing. But you never know. (Though, please credit me when using my ideas, thank you Bertram and Co. lol) =]

Let’s start the Race somewhere other than Los Angeles. And since my route heads to Asia first, San Francisco International Airport is a perfect alternative as a gateway to Asia.

And our Starting Line is at the Admiral Nimitz House on Yerba Buena Island right in the middle of San Francisco Bay. It provides a beautiful and stunning start to the Race with the teams being brought to the Starting Line on speedboats or even yachts as a nod to the recent America’s Cup. The brand new Eastern Span of the Bay Bridge also rises up behind the Starting Line. Continue reading
