This year, I decided to put together my K-Drama All-Stars list. That is, actors who I might have seen the most in my drama watching in 2022. And thankfully, those same actors are also among those who delivered some of the best performances from the year too!
The four pre-2022 Korean Dramas I watched this year and highly recommend!
Here are my 20 (and more!) favorite Korean dramas of 2022!
I felt a bit of a K-drama slump this year, but there was no shortage of wonderful OSTs. To be honest, I made this separate list of favorite OSTs mainly because of my top two. But it was also great to come up with this list as it reminded me of some great series this year and their great music. The best OSTs are ones that capture and encapsulate what each series brings to life. So you’ll see those words quite often in this list. (lol)
It’s that time of year again! Here are my 50 favorite songs of 2022!
I am very much looking forward to the Thai adaptation of Cherry Magic starring Tay Tawan and New Thitipoom. For one, because they were the first Thai BL pairing I ever watched and followed. And seeing them reunited finally in a new project is very exciting. But also two, I watched (and enjoyed) the Japanese series adaptation of the manga a few years ago because it starred Eiji Akaso who I knew from Kamen Rider Build, one of my favorite seasons of that franchise.
Happy 10th Anniversary to The Amazing Race Philippines which premiered ten years ago today on October 29, 2012!
I have really been enjoying GMA Network’s Maria Clara at Ibarra. Aside from the top-notch production and performances, I’ve always wanted to see a big budget, fancy adaptation of Jose Rizal’s seminal novel Noli Me Tangere.
The Manny Villar-owned Advanced Media Broadcasting System was awarded the frequencies of analog channel 2 and digital channel 16 at the beginning of this year. And although AMBS did not immediately have the resources or even content to fill those frequencies, they have rushed to flip the switch on the new ALLTV network. Thus, ushering in the next chapter in what has been a very colorful and tumultuous history in Philippine media.
Growing up, I would be at home with my grandparents and aunt who would take care of me while my parents were hard at work during the day. Aside from playing with my toy cars or drawing on paper (and the walls), part of that daily routine included watching Days of our Lives with my grandparents and aunt.
