I’ve been wanting to re-watch some older seasons for a while now, especially seasons I didn’t recap like I do today. So after the finale of TARPHDME20 (lol), I decided why not finally do it. And what better season to start with than my favorite season of all-times, Season 3!
The Final Leg begins as teams must find the Buddha statue at the Quang Minh Temple in Da Nang. Teams have $250 for this Leg.
With $162, the Penultimate Leg begins as teams must now hop on a train to the city of Hue where they will find the next clue at the Imperial Palace.
The Final Four is set and they begin the 11th Leg during the 10pm hour by learning they must fly to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. They have $100 for this Leg of the Race.
Teams are transported to Lucerne where they will begin the 10th Leg of the Race. From there, they will have to make their way to Geneva and find the next clue under the Jet d’Eau.
Teams begin the 9th Leg of the Race in the pre-dawn hours. With $40 in their pockets, they must make their way to the Gletscherschlucht and figure out how to find car keys deep inside the gorge.
Phil points out that Flo and Drew have begun flirting with each other during the Pit Stop. But the 9th Leg begins with teams driving themselves to a nearby farm to search for their next clue in a giant haystack.
With only a dollar for this Leg, teams must now fly to Munich, Germany and find friend Kasperle in the Friedensengel. Teri & Ian hope to maintain their almost two-hour lead on the other teams by leaving Morocco as soon as possible. They are able to make the 6:05am flight to Munich via Zurich.
With $50 for this 6th Leg of the Race, teams must drive themselves to the Hussan II Mosque in Casablanca, the 2nd largest religious monument in the world.
With $500 in hand, teams begin the 5th Leg of the Race by figuring out where is the westernmost point of Continental Europe is: Cabo da Roca. With all teams departing during the 2pm hour, they choose between train or taxi to get to Cabo da Roca.
