The day continues for the teams as they begin the 8th Leg by driving to the Skeleton Coast.
The 7th Leg of the Race takes teams to Namibia where they start the Leg at Walvis Bay International Airport. The first clue, including 365 Namibian dollars, directs teams to drive themselves into the Namib Desert to find Dune 7, one of the highest in the world.
The Race continues immediately as teams must now make their way to Mpandlane Village in Magaliesburg with 500 rand or $41 for this Leg.
Teams start the 5th Leg of the Race by getting the clue slid under their hotel doors telling them to catch a taxi to Nelson Madela’s hometown Soweto.
The Race moves on to South Africa and the 4th Leg begins in Johannesburg. Upon arrival, teams must purchase their own train tickets to Park Station in the heart of the city where their next clue awaits.
The teams travel to the Inca Trail in northwest Argentina where they will start the third Leg in Purmamarca.
The teams will get to experience gaucho life as they arrive in the city of Salta in the Andes. The first clue, which includes 41,000 Argentine Pesos, directs teams to head to Cerro San Bernardo, the highest point in the city.
The teams fly to Argentina to reach the Starting Line at Plaza de Mayo in Buenos Aires. Beau welcomes all the teams and then flags them off.
