Wow! So. I can say with no hesitation that season 37 of The Amazing Race might just be the best, most enjoyable season since season 25. And I believe season 25 is one of the stronger seasons overall in addition to being the strongest and most complete season of the HD Era.

The Penultimate Leg begins with teams learning they will fly to Porto, Portugal via Frankfurt. Upon arrival at Porto Francisco sa Carneiro Airport, teams will encounter another Amazing Race first: the Valet Roulette. Teams will randomly choose a key from the valet board resulting in either an automatic or manual car. There are two automatic and three manual cars.

All teams will fly to Frankfurt, Germany and then hop on a train to Strasbourg, France. Upon arrival in Strasbourg, teams get into marked cars to drive themselves to the Council of Europe.

At the Pit Stop, teams use the Expedia app to book their flights and hotels to Naples, Italy which the Race will be visiting “for the first time ever”. All teams get on the same flight.

To start the 8th Leg of the Race, teams must drive to Lake Ariana in Sofia. But they can also decide to go for an Express Pass before doing that. Alyssa & Josiah, starting the Leg in first place around 20 minutes ahead of the next team, of course decide to go for it.

Teams fly to the only European country that hasn’t changed their name since founding and where yogurt was invented: Bulgaria. Upon arrival in Sofia, teams must search the airport garage for the cars they will be self-driving on this Leg.

All teams are on the same flight to Dubai, United Arab Emirates for the 6th Leg of the Race where a Fast Forward will be available. At the airport, it is awkward between Jonathan & Ana and Carson & Jack for the perceived betrayal at the U-Turn vote.

After staying with locals for a homestay during the Pit Stop, teams open the first clue of the 5th Leg in the morning directing them to the Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary. But as teams start the Leg before sunrise, all teams end up equalized at the HOURS OF OPERATION at 8am.

For this 4th Leg, teams will fly to Bali, Indonesia. Leading teams Scott & Lori and Carson & Jack agree that Jonathan & Ana probably wouldn’t screw them over at the Driver’s Seat and hope that one of them three will get there first. Otherwise the trailing teams might target them with it.
