During the Pit Stop, things get a little crazy at dinner when Chris, Alex and Wil get a bit drunk and rowdy. A couple of teams believe Wil, especially, crossed the line with his vulgarity. So much so that pastor Russell called him out. Meanwhile, Alex and Tara continue to grow closer as they sneak around in dark stairwells and pretend to kiss.
Shola & Doyin begin the 3rd Leg at 10:34pm as they learn they must fly to Cape Town, South Africa. All teams will receive $150 and must exit Brazil through Sao Paulo.
The 2nd Leg of the 2nd season begins with Tara & Wil departing at 11:06pm. They open the first clue (which includes $200) telling them to take a zodiac boat back to shore and choose a waiting blue taxi to take them to Academicos da Barra da Tijuca, a samba club. Once there, teams must find a dancer whose headdress matches the feather they’ve been given in the envelope.
Phil is standing in the middle of the desert near Pahrump, Nevada. Eleven new teams are being transported here by helicopter. The teams include ‘All-American” siblings Blake & Paige, married parents Hope & Norm, best friends Oswald & Danny, separated married couple Tara & Wil, cautious mother and free-spirited daughter Deidre & Hillary, childhood Boston friends Chris & Alex, married pastors Cyndi & Russell, “Gutsy Grannies” Peggy & Claire, former roommates and “best enemies” Gary & Dave, sisters Mary & Peach, and psychology degreed twins Shola & Doyin.
