Back at the shop, Touma tells the others that he blacked out when he used the Primitive Dragon Book. He says he met a mysterious man in the Southern Base who led him to where Storious had just retrieved the Book from. Tetsuo says that was the Forbidden Library where the most dangerous Books are kept. But only Master Logos is supposed to have access to it. Touma asks Tetsuo to analyze it.
Tetsuo explains to the others how he has been studying if all their swords could possibly separate humans from Megidos just like Touma’s Rekka. Mei brings up the people whose Books were completed already and Touma says they should be able to find a way to save them as well.
At the shop, Tetsuo explains that Rekka can split humans from Megido. But Master Logos has declared they are willing to sacrifice humans in order to save the world. Though Tetsuo suggests Reika might be feeding them fake news.
The doorbell rings and Tassel opens the door to welcome Yuuri in. Yuuri is amazed after learning how different justice is now compared to 2000 years ago. Which is why he wants to return to being a swordsman. And to do that, Tassel must return to him the Story of the Radiant Blade Saikou, which contains his entire history as a swordsman.
While Tassel inexplicably shrinks himself, Touma, Mei and an uninterested Yuuri try to chase Shingo/the Megido around town. But he is always one step ahead of them. Touma and Mei try to figure out why the Megido would be building walls around the city.
Touma and Mei are scolding Yuuri for not telling them sooner about being able to separate humans from Megidos. It would’ve saved Yuki-san from all her suffering. Instead of listening to them, he is intrigued by Mei’s cell phone and tries to secretly swipe it.
While a very giddy Legeiel plays the organ, Storious warns they must keep an eye out for the Swordsman of Light.
Meanwhile, Mei is trying to change Yuri’s mind about striking down Yuki-san. But Yuri says Touma is very naïve to be overly concerned with his friends over his swordsman responsibilities.
Touma is sitting on the rooftop thinking about the now-meaningless promise they had made to be friends forever. Mei finds him and takes a seat with him. She asks if he knows what he’s going to do now, but he doesn’t.
Legeiel is upset that the Riders ruined his plan. Zooous mocks him. But Storious says in spite of that, they are still in a good spot. As long as they gather the Seiken and their respective Books, they will be one step closer to The Book.
Storious says only the one who obtains the eternal truth can return from the Big Book in the Sky which is a gateway to an infinite realm that lies the origin of all knowledge.
