While the Rangers are training and Ollie enjoys a PB&J sandwich, the Gold Ranger teleports down into the command chamber unannounced. He demorphs and though Solon gives him a warm welcome, Zayto is quite the opposite.
Ollie was supposed to pick up samples for Javi’s story, but he completely forgot while he was buying brand new headphones that were just released today. Ollie apologizes, but he cares very much about always getting the latest technology
Out of nowhere, Lord Zedd appears to try and steal some Sporix. Void Knight thought he was dead. But he is alive thanks to Reaghoul who is able to reanimate dead people from any period in their lives. Thus, he has resurrected Zedd from when he was most evil and has put a compliance collar on him to order him around.
Izzy is leading the other Rangers and the Coach Bella refugees on their free workout through the mountain trail. They take a short break. The others notice Izzy and Fern seem much closer now when they had been fierce rivals who hated each other just days before.
Izzy excitedly leads the other Rangers through a tough workout session. Papa Garcia stops by and asks about the mysterious Hotshots Gym brochures that’ve been left around for him to find. Izzy admits it was her and asks if she could get an advance on her allowance to enroll at the gym led by the renowned Coach Bella. Papa Garcia thinks it could be beneficial for Izzy, but he’s not sure.
Trying to figure out what story they should cover next, Javi jokes about a potential ghost-involved story which Amelia instantly gets excited about. It’s just too bad that ghost stories are hard to come by. That is, until Pop-pop comes in to Buzzblast to tell his granddaughter about his experience this morning.
Mucus has finished uploading Ranger data into and painting their new general. Void Knight places a Sporix into the general’s body and that brings the master of disguise Slyther to life. Mucus hopes to be friends with him, but Slyther brushes her aside.
The Rangers are on a camping trip, but they are a little wary of all the convenient, though unnecessary gadgets Ollie has brought along including electricity-generating shoes, built-in fans in his jacket and a remote control-powered hammock. The others’ appear to be validated when Zayto turns the hammock up too fast and he gets thrown across the clearing. Ollie says they’ll regret their mockery later.
I like Power Rangers Operation Overdrive. Actually, it’s one of my favorite Power Rangers seasons.
Rose offers the jewels to the mummy who hands her a small box. Tyzonn says the box isn’t registering a reading. But once they actually open it, their Trackers go off as they see the Pink Emerald is inside it. Rose says the box probably had some metal that blocked the jewel from their trackers.
