Some great music from Big Ocean, Han Seung Woo, Jeong Sewoon, &TEAM, TIOT
“Attention” by Big Ocean
Really enjoyed following Big Ocean from their debut through their releases last year. And their latest one is an amazing step forward for the talented rookies! Title track “Attention” a funky pop rock track with a dynamic melody matched with the trio’s confident, flirty performance. Definitely a new side of the guys from their previous releases and they effortlessly deliver. The other three tracks on the album Underwater are equally great with pop ballad “Sinking”, pop-rock “Fade Out” and synth-infused “End of Time”. A really amazing release from Big Ocean!
“Positive Vibes” by Han Seung Woo
Loved Han Seung Woo’s solo releases. And he definitely delivers the “Positive Vibes” with his latest track. It’s a warm performance that evokes the nostalgic, even if bittersweet memories of the lyrics.
“Eternally” by Jeong Sewoon
Jeong Sewoon has a new pre-release track in “Eternally” ahead of his new album next month. It is an awesome, moody track with a laid back vibe. This is the sound that made me a fan of Jeong Sewoon and I’m so happy he’s treated us with this song. I would love if the new album Brut has similar tracks as well. But anything Jeong Sewoon releases is always a worthy listen.
“Flex Line” by TIOT
TIOT also evolves with their latest release Flex Line. The title track of the same name is a hip-hop dance track that gives the group a chance for a performance showcasing their charisma and swag. A very confident performance from a group that had a great debut year. The other three tracks on the album are also great, a mix of pop and R&B tracks that complement the title track very well. A great comeback for TIOT!
“Go in Blind” by &TEAM
I have really enjoyed &TEAM. They are always confident with their sound and can deliver excellent performances across a wide range of genres and styles. “Go in Blind” is a powerful rock-powered pop dance track and the group delivers once again with a charismatic and effortless performance. The other five tracks, including Korean versions of two, are solid as well.
