Let’s check out new music from AIMERS, Pagaehun, NEXZ, 82MAJOR, The Boyz!
”Starry Night” by AIMERS
AIMERS’ latest release is a fun and funky track. “Starry Night” has no problem encouraging you get up and groove along with the catchy song and the group’s charming performance. The group has released some great music. “Somebody” was one of my favorite songs of 2024. And “Starry Night” could easily make my list this year too.
“Hi+Fiv3” by Pagaehun
I feel like I’ve watched and listened to solo artist Pagaehun before, though I’m not sure. But as soon as I saw his latest release pop up on my YouTube Recommendations, I definitely clicked on over to check it out. “Hi+Fiv3” is a sweet pop track and it perfectly allows Pagaehun to showcase his sweet vocals and overflowing charm. I’m not sure if this is my first impression of him, but I’ll treat it as such and it was a great first impression! I will definitely check out his previous releases now as well.
“Simmer” by NEXZ
I thought “Simmer” was NEXZ’s new title track, but it’s actually just a pre-release! And it’s a great one at that! The catchy and charismatic hip-hop track certainly raises the anticipation for the title track and album coming up! And the music video features some fun and creative visuals too. NEXZ is really growing with every release and it’s really exciting to see!
“Takeover” by 82MAJOR
82MAJOR returns with their latest album Silence Syndrome. The title track “Takeover” is a very interesting track. As it first starts, I didn’t think it would be my cup of tea. But by the end, this hip-hop track has a catchy rhythm that allows the rookie group to deliver a charismatic performance. That swag perfectly suits the song’s youthful and rebellious attitude. The rest of the album is solid as well with my favorite track being the closing “Promise You”.
“VVV” by The Boyz
I feel like it’s been a while since I’ve enjoyed a title track from The Boyz. But “VVV” is definitely the first one in a while. The synth-infused pop dance track is a very interesting track from them. Especially as the first release since joining a new company. It’s a funky, energetic track and, from what I can remember, a bit different from some of their recent releases. But nonetheless, I really enjoy it. The other eight tracks on the album Unexpected are good as well with a mix of genres and styles. A good album to signal their fresh start!
