After Liselle shoots at Shoma and Rakia, the Granute is able to escape. Jiip pops up to introduce his wife and he tells her about Shoma being the guy he told her about. Liselle shoots at him and Shoma goes Gurucan to help absorb the attack even though he and Rakia are still forced to dehenshin.
Liselle says it’s time for her walk so she and Jiip leave.
Back at Hapipare, Shoma and Rakia tell Hanto and Sachika about what’s happened. Hanto wonders if now that the president’s involved, they are going up against all of Granute land. But Shoma says it could just be Jiip’s personal vendetta against him.
Anyway, Sachika says they should focus on Sakurai-san and the other missing rec center people for now. They head out to investigate.
Over at the Granute presidential palace, President Bocca is meeting with a businessman, Magen, on continuing support for his administration. Magen compliments Bocca on the delicious refreshments and asks where he got this delicious treat.
Booca introduces Lango who has a box of treats ready for Magen to take home with him. Lango and Bocca watch as Magen gleefully skips away with the addictive treats.
President Bocca says he is intrigued by Lango’s Mimic Keys. Lango shows how it works as he transforms into his human form. Bocca says he now understands the value of human ingredients.
Bocca is looking forward to using Magen as his lapdog once he’s addicted to the treats and controllable. He’s doing this so he doesn’t fall out of line. And he knows Lango had his sights set on doing the same thing. But Bocca warns Lango that the authorities wouldn’t like learning about the Stomachs’ business model.
Later, Liselle arrives fresh from the human world with some gifts for her father as he signs some bills into law. He admits it is still shocking to see her in this human form and asks if maybe she can limit her use of it to when she’s in that world. But she says she cannot promise that because she likes this cutey look.
Liselle says the human world is full of surprises and she is happy she took Jiip in. Papa Bocca says he wasn’t sure what to think of her marriage, but she agrees that Jiip is a valuable asset. Liselle warns her father that Jiip belongs to her and that he better keep his fingers off of him. President Bocca says of course.
After Liselle leaves, Bocca tells his staff to dispose of the human items. He believes she’ll get tired of this obsession soon enough.
Back in the human world, Jiip is alone at home when he inserts the repaired Mimic Key to turn himself into Siita’s form. He looks at himself, with Siita’s face, in the mirror telling her how much he misses her. He vows to avenge her.
Just then, Liselle arrives home. But she tells Jiip it’s okay if he stays in this form. She really likes it.
Elsewhere in the city, the Hapi4 are out and asking around about the missing peoples. Shoma stops by a coffee shop to ask if he’s seen the old man. The shopowner seems worried that the old man has gone missing, but Shoma says he’s actually a burglar. After Shoma leaves, the shopowner seems quite suspicious.
The Hapi4 head back to Hapipare to enjoy some afternoon snacks. They haven’t found a single lead yet so Hanto decides to use his investigative journalism skills. They head back to the rec center and retrace the steps of Sakurai-san. This eventually leads them to a bathhouse where they find the old man Granute at the front desk.
The Granute reveals himself and Shoma and Hanto chase after him. Rakia asks Sachika to lead him to a staff-only place in this bathhouse. And sure enough, they find where the Presses are being kept.
An Agent pops up and Rakia tells Sachika to grab the Presses case and go. Rakia battles the Agent outside as Sachika cheers him on.
Meanwhile, Shoma and Hanto henshin. They are able to finish off the Granute with Frappe-powered uphenshins and an Ice Break Frappe Vortex finisher.
Rakia also takes care of the Agent.
Back at Hapipare that evening, they toast to a good day. Hanto says this is the kind of time they should be relaxing and enjoying a soak at the bathhouse. Rakia makes fun of Hanto and Hanto returns the favor. Sachika notices Shoma smiling as he watches them. Shoma says he likes this feeling of teamwork and it is very nice.
At the Stomach manse, Glotta and Nyelv join Lango to get a big surprise. Liselle arrives to announce that Stomach Inc now belongs to the Jarudak Family and she is the new CEO.
Glotta tells Liselle to fix herself, but Liselle is serious. Jiip is the new vice president and taunts Lango (with no honorifics) by sending him to full time procurement duty. Glotta can’t believe this sh-t.
Nyelv rolls his eyes and sighs.
Episode Thoughts
This episode was definitely a Granute World focus. Maybe that’s one reason it’s not going to be one of my favorites of the season. But it certainly does a lot of world building and set-up for this arc.
To start off, I will say that the show’s plan is working. I definitely like the three Stomach sibs more than the marriage of convenience couple. Lololol Liselle is definitely the annoying spoiled brat while Jiip enjoying being in his sister’s form is very strange. Lol And kinda gross. Lol
The scene with Liselle and her father was interesting. It was good to see that he knows he has to humor and spoil his daughter. So he knows how to handle her. Which helps support him knowing how to handle his partners and foes as we saw with that meeting with his business partner/crony and his interaction with Lango. Like, the cliché personality would be the president being all tough and ruthless with everyone else, but be submissive to his brat daughter. But so far, that’s not the case. Which is great.
Of course, no matter how much the president can handle all of that, I’m sure even he will be surprised if or when Liselle goes on the rampage. Her personality just screams evil meltdown somewhere down the line. And I wouldn’t be surprised if she does things that would make the murderous Stomach Sibs recoil in horror! lol
Also in line with the fairly obvious ploy to soften the Stomach Sibs’ image (as little as they can by now lol), we see the president is not against getting people (or Granutes, in this case) addicted to the drugs so long as he benefits. Even thinking about using the drug treats to retain control over the world. We don’t necessarily know the Stomach Sibs have world conquering ambitions per se. They just like the business and relative power that comes with it? (We should probably start digging into their true motivations now that we’re in the 30s, yeah? Hehe) So that grander scale from the Jarudaks again makes them a sure early 40s threat.
And of course that leaves open the path for our real Final Boss Nyelv (lol).
I’m just kidding. I don’t know. But with the Jarudaks, I definitely feel like they will eventually serve the purpose of pushing the Stomach Family drama forward and toward the final clash and climax.
Already we see the Jarudaks as the catalyst to seeing Lango be almost the opposite of his boss self. We see them being the key to furthering the twins’ strange relationship with each other. And for sure, Nyelv is already thinking of a way to use this situation to his advantage.
I was applauding Glotta though when she was basically like “You better fix yourself little girl!” to Liselle. Lol I can’t wait to see Glotta own her ass in the future lolololol
So this is all interesting stuff and it all continues to set the stage. But when you look back on the season, it’s not going to be the first episode that comes to mind, that’s for sure.
Meanwhile, our Hapi4 had some fun moments throughout the episode. It was great to see them all out and about, especially together. And I see that was all to help set up next week’s episode where Hanto and Rakia learn how to be good friends too. I mean, of course Hanto would want to be close with his boyfriend’s friends. And Rakia should get along with his friend’s boyfriend too. Not to mention his future girlfriend’s friend as well.
Wait what?!
Anyway! Enough of that! Lol. It was a good episode. Nothing too awe-inspiring. Good action in the end. But really just continuing to help set the stage for what’s ahead. And that’s always good.

Lango at the end is basically thinking (to quote Squidward): “I wonder if a fall from this height would be enough to kill me.”
I REALLY liked the new change up in villain dynamics and how the older trio are getting humbled. It makes me wonder how they’ll get themselves out of this mess and get back on top. My guess is they’ll have to make use of Suga’s Bitter Gavv Rider System and “ultimate life form” project to acquire more power to take out Bocca. And depending on whether Nyelv actually pulled a “We Can Rebuild Him” with Suga, they may be forced to rely on Nyelv’s insane and weird yet fearless best friend for that. Regardless of Suga’s former human status and whatever freakish abomination Nyelv turned him into to save him. Fight crazy with crazy, perhaps?
Also, I think they may be implying that the owner of the candy shop with all of Shoma’s favorites may be one of Shoma’s human relatives? He’s not just gonna be a one-off character judging by next episode’s preview. Maybe he’s Shoma’s mother’s brother and thus Shoma’s uncle.
And yeah, I’m totally with you on finding Liselle a detestable brat. Sure, Jeebh’s sympathetic in how Lango has treated him like dirt till now, but NOBODY talks to Glotta that way without getting me irritated. lol. In this villain vs. villain conflict, I’m on whatever side Glotta (and potentially my other favorite character Suga) is on.
I definitely don’t count out the Stomach Sibs just yet. I think they will obviously come out on top later on as I don’t see the President and daughter to be endgame in any way. So that will be very interesting to watch play out. Who knows, there could also be an “enemy of the enemy is my friend” dynamic with the Stomach Sibs and the Hapipare Gang. YOu never know! Hehe
Oh! I didn’t think of the shop owner possibly being someone from Shoma’s human side. That would be very interesting.
And for sure. I can’t wait for Glotta to be the one to put Liselle in her place! lol
Oh, and the Stomach Siblings do have world-conquering ambitions. That’s their “true motivation” and what they were gonna use the Dark Treats for. It’s never been a secret unlike what Suga’s ambition was. They’re evidently following in the footsteps of their grandpappy Zomb who started selling the Dark Treats in the first place to take over Granute World. President Bocca pretty much hijacked that plan for his own ends.
That’s why their newfound conflict with the Jardacs is so interesting. If Bocca and Liselle were to die off, then not only would the Stomach Family get their company back, but Bocca’s now-empty spot as Granute World’s ruler would be theirs for the taking. I imagine they’ll probably resort to using more “creative” methods that they (or at least Lango and Glotta) would have never used before in an all-or-nothing gamble.
I honestly could see Liselle’s story going either way depending on how she reacts when someone inevitably gives her a hard no.
Also no way any Glota, Nyelv and Lango going to just sit back and let the company be fundamentally taken over.
Forreal though, the show is going to make us go from being disgusted with the Stomach Family’s murderous drug business to rooting for them against Liselle and daddy lolol
Jiip is truly a sicko, psycho siscon. That’s what I keep from this episode.
That was a very creepy moment for sure! Like, there’s so much you could infer from that scene that is so gross and uncomfortable potentially that I don’t even want to think about it!
It was such a comfort episode what do you think about candy shop owner?he looks like he will be a big part considering he will be in next episode too and his concern about kidnapping too
I think he is shouma’s mother’s brother considering this arch will focus on shouma’s mother side family
That’s very interesting. I didn’t think he could be related to Shoma’s family. I just thought he was related to the old man Granute gym creeper. But it should be very exciting to see Shoma uncover more about his human family. With Hanto’s help of course.
