Rakia’s Confession
Rakia is nervous about confessing to the girl he likes. Hanto tries to gas him up and then gives him a lesson on rizz.
Rakia doesn’t even know if she already has a boyfriend and Hanto says he should’ve gotten the tea first.
Shoma pops up and Rakia asks him how he would rizz up girls. Shoma whips out a Gavv mask and basically threatens the girl to go out with him or he’ll beat her up. Hanto says that’s crazy.
But Shoma and Rakia get carried away with their Gavv fanboying and they knock Hanto out without even laying a finger on him. As Shoma catches Hanto in his arms, Rakia sees that the girl has already left the classroom.
Beware the Science Club
Hanto is interviewing Nyelv who wants to join the Science Club. Nyelv says he would like to research how to bring about world peace. Suga-san says that sounds like a nice idea, but they would need some human trials first.
Hanto is taken aback by the suggestion and Suga-san asks him if he wants to be surgically modified to feel better. Hanto respectfully turns him down. Nyelv happily says they shouldn’t scare Hanto off.
Nyelv asks Hanto if he would like to try his pudding-scented perfume, but Hanto refuses. Suga-san tries to calm him down and says he just wants to implant something in him to feel like a new man.
Hanto calls for help from Takijima-san and Takabe-san, but Suga-san says they’re busy preparing for their new schools. Suga-san and Nyelv knock Hanto out and carry him away.
Aimless Rakian
Sachika finds Rakia and stops him from leaving the classroom. She wants his advice on whether she should try bear or jellyfish dumplings. Glotta comes to ask him which lipstick she should use.
Rakia says it’s all the same to him and he gets up to leave. But Sachika pushes him back down on the chair, telling him she spends a lot of time on how she looks and he hasn’t even said anything about it yet. Glotta says the same.
Rakia again tries to leave, but Sachika and Glotta stop him and say he needs to stop being so nonchalant. Sachika and Glotta have worked up an appetite scolding Rakia so they leave to go get some parfaits
Rakian decides he wants some too and follows.
Nyelv-senpai, I…
(POV)
I ask Nyelv if there’s anyone he’s interested in right now. He says he’s been too busy with college applications to think about stuff like that, especially when love is too abstract a concept to interest him.
I confess to Nyelv that I’ve had a crush on him for two years. He apologizes that he’s never noticed it before and though it was just a typical senpai-kohai relationship.
I ask what I could do for him to like me back. Nyelv says his dream is to become a scientist and it would be nice to have someone support him along his journey.
“I’d do anything if it’s for you, senpai! 😍 I’ll let you do experiments on me! 😊”
Nyelv says he’s in trouble if I’m willing to go that far.
I tell him that I just really want to be with him. He’s so cool and has a sweet face. I beg him to give me a chance.
Nyelv says he appreciates it, though he admits that he could be a bad guy. But if I’m willing and won’t regret my choice, I should take his hand and never let go.
Studying with Glotta
Shoma is procrastinating, trying to finish his homework that is due any minute, Glotta comes to tease her little brother and offers to look over his work. But Shoma doesn’t respond, too focused. Glotta is annoyed that he thinks he’s too good for them with his red Gavv and whatnot. She storms off.
Shoma looks up at the clock and can’t believe the time. He puts his head down in frustration and he ends up taking a nap. When he wakes up, he sees Glotta sitting next to him, but the woman says she is the Homework Fairy.
The Fairy offers to teach him how to solve the problem having already easily passed this grade. Shoma gives her his workbook, but the Fairy doesn’t seem to know what to do.
The Fairy says Shoma won’t need any of this stuff in the real world anyway. She tosses the book aside and slams Shoma’s head on the table, telling him to get it together and do his own work. The Fairy leaves.
Shoma wakes up from his apparent dream and continues on his work. But he finds that it is all done. He hurries to turn it in.
On the other table is the Fairy’s glasses.
Sour Extracurriculars
Sachika is telling Rittsun on the phone about her grades dropping again. And if she doesn’t get them back up, she won’t be getting any more allowance.
Sachika drops her papers and then her phone dies.
Suga-san comes in and helps pick her papers up. She hands him her homework and asks if he can buy her some hot choco. He says sure, since she looks like she’s having a bad day.
Sachika says that’s sweet of him. “Sweet like sugar?” Suga-san asks. Sachika tells him not to do that. It’s cringey.
Suga-san says that if Sachika were to be sad, the entire class would be sad too. He hover pats her on the head to avoid any potential legal ramifications. Sachika tries to offer her head up to his hand, but he avoids it otherwise he’ll get in trouble.
She asks if she can borrow a charger and he says they can stop by on the way to hot choco. But she will have to stay after class. Sachika says she’ll get some gummies for it then. Suga-san says he’s into bitter dark chocolate.
As they leave, Suga-san notices a strand of hair on her shoulder. He asks if he can have it. But she thinks that’s creepy.
Graduation Thoughts
Okay, so this started out strong and ended with cringe. I did not like that last one. So the less we say about it, the better. Lol
Anyway, what a fun little series of skits. It’s always great to see the characters and friends we spend time with each week do something different and the opposite of what we’re used to. So this little ten minute special was very fun.
First up, Toei knows exactly what they are doing when they have Hanto holding Rakia’s chin and saying something flirty. Just like Thailand’s GMMTV has gone all in on their BL dramas after finding they can bring in lots of baht with such productions and pairings, Toei must have seen how successful their Toei-to-BL pipeline has been that they want to cash in on it themselves lololol
Also, it’s nice to see Toei acknowledges that Hanto getting beaten up and knocked out all the time has become a running gag. Lol
I was a bit sad that the girl Rakia wanted to confess to wasn’t Sachika. Even if none of this canon, it would’ve been fun to see nonetheless. Hehe.
The skit with Hanto, Nyelv and Suga-san was fun. Mostly for the unconscious Hanto gag. But also the funny mention of Takijima-san and Takabe-san who I assumed were Toei bosses and indeed they are lol
The Rakia-Sachika/Glotta bit was alright. It’s like that dynamic of being the guy friend in a group of girls and not knowing (or caring) about stuff like makeup and whatnot. Sachika and Glotta being besties was also fun.
Then there’s the Nyelv POV. That was definitely for all the fangirls and fanboys out there. All the manga and manhwa and webtoon readers. The hopeless romantics and the lovers of senpai-kohai tropes lol (I won’t say which ones apply to me lolol)
Of all the characters on Gavv though, I think the only one who could’ve done this POV was Nyelv indeed. I think that’s partly because of the actor Ryo Takizawa. He was effortless with the scene. So it worked very well. If only Nyelv wasn’t a Stomach huhu lol
Now what if in-series, Sachika ends up being the one that turns Nyelv into a new man. 😭Then what? huhu
The Shoma-Glotta skit was fun if only because it was great to see a healthy and normal Stomach sibling relationship for once. In another world and another life, the Stomach sibs would all be one big happy family. Huhuhu.
And then that last skit. Creepy! Cringey! No thanks! Lol
Overall, a fun little ten minutes. I wouldn’t mind them doing this more often. Maybe have a running series throughout the season. They could film a bunch of these in an hour since they’re only like two minutes long. But at the same time, I know the filming schedule for both Toei tokus is so packed, I wouldn’t want them to be worked more than they have to be lol Anyway, very fun!

It was quite endearing (and a little sad) to see Glotta acting like a good big sister to Shoma. I love how “tsundere-esque” she came across. Because weirdly, she’s like that a bit in the main series, mostly with the Twins. And she was the first one of the siblings to actually acknowledge Shoma as her little brother after he impressed her in a fight.
Machi Chitose was awesome, as per usual. You know she’s written a few audio dramas as series side material? They’re called Glotta’s Valentine.
Oh! That’s very interesting about the audio dramas.
