Trying to catch up on new music from SF9, Lim Young Min, NTX, NouerA, TREASURE!
“Love Race” by SF9
SF9 releases their latest album Love Race and title track of the same name. The rock-infused pop-dance track is a confident and charismatic performance from the always talented group. And the other five tracks of the album follow suit with similar vibes. A solid release from SF9.
“On My Way” by Lim Young Min
Lim Young Min is back with his new single album On My Way and the title track of the same name as well. The deep house genre song is an easy listen with a groovy melody and clever lyrics. The other two tracks on the album “Tell Me That You Want Me” and “Vibe Check” are also good with the former my favorite I think.
“Over N Over” by NTX
It’s always a treat to see NTX releasing new music. I might not follow them closely, but I definitely check out their new releases whenever I see them. And they just released their second full length album Over Track. The 11 tracks on the album showcase their growth. I still remember their bright debut track “Kiss the World” a few years ago. And this new album definitely shows their evolved sound and style. Title track “Over N Over” is a great representation of the rest of the album. A carefree, charismatic song and performance. The rest of the tracks of the album offer up a diverse, but synchronized set of songs to show what this underrated group is capable of. Hard to pick a favorite, but aside from the title track, I think “Scoot” and “Stay” are my choices.
“N.I.N (New is Now)” by NouerA
I always like to check out new groups and NouerA make their debut with the catchy “N.I.N (New is Now)”. The EDM and rock-infused track offers up an attention-grabbing debut performance from the rookies. And it leads in well to the other five tracks from the album of the same name. The other tracks are of a wide range of sound and style. And it’s also a great way to introduce new listeners, like myself, to the new group. Looking forward to what they have in store!
“Yellow” by TREASURE
I realize I actually haven’t checked out TREASURE’s music in years! But this special album might just be a great way to reintroduce myself to them. Title track “Yellow” is a sweet and warm track that expresses the hopefulness of springtime. The album is a special releases dedicated for fans and it’s definitely a different vibe from what I remember of them. I’ll be sure to check them out more regularly this year!
